  "Booked online. Arrived and received a warm, chatty welcome, and were shown to our room. Very large, airy and clean. Staff were pleasant all W/E, and buffet breakfast was good. Access to the hotel and parking was difficult due to diversions for the Christmas Markets, but once parked the car was not required as it is so close to the City attractions." (108760046)

  Friendly welcome, lovely room, easy access to city, nice breakfast.

  Pillows were too soft (feathery) Would have liked access to a little more English language TV. Access for car to hotel.

  Very tight rooms be prepared mentally.

  "A retirer de votre catalogue" (107513689)

  a deux nous nous sommes trouvés dans une chambre de12 m2 au 4 étages et une petite douche ,un lavabo et un wc dans 1,5 m2 et il fallait d'abord ouvrir la porte pour sortir de la chambre. Quand au buffet il n'a rien de copieux ,plutot spartiate.Il a fallu les menacer de quitter l'hotel pour obtenir une chambre plus spacieuse mais qui ne correspond pas à un 3 étoiles. Leur site ne correspond au produit .C'est dommage !!!!!!!

  The location was good and the breakfast was nice

  They stated they had a parking garage, but they don't. However, there was free on-street parking on Sunday. We requested a double bed, but were given two twin beds.

I really liked the hotel's personality - probably because it HAS a personality, unlike some larger hotels where the staff seem like robots and you never see the same person twice. The location couldn't have been better. I'm already thinking of returning next year and taking the train since the station is so close." (107952170)

  Great location for visiting the Christmas markets. Only a short walk to the Dom, Hauptbahnhof and S-bahn stop. We had the triple room with an extra bed and it was quite large and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice - great coffee! Staff was very helpful, especially Herr Grund, who was also very funny as well.

  I was freezing at night as I tried to get to sleep. I think the maid turns off the radiator when cleaning, which I understand but wish they didn't do in the winter. To be fair, the rest of my family was warm and snug, and I'm sure the staff would have given me an extra blanket if I'd bothered to ask. You can hear noise from the train station, but it wasn't loud enough to bother us or keep us awake. Don't count on being able to park right out front.

  very small room overlooking rail station - we checked out ahead if intended date and found another hotel on Cologne

  "We got the hotel at a really good price during Christmas market season and was very pleased with our choice. Location was excellent, staff very helpful, room was very clean and a decent size for three people. Would definitely choose this hotel again." (97772416)

  "What I didn't like was that we couldn't pay the fee with our visa card when we checked out. We booked on line and it gave the inpression that it be charged on our card. When we checked out they told us where to pay in cash and beside the reception there was a small note indicating payment under 100 euro was to be paid by cash.Would have been nice if they mention that when we checked in.A personal touch.The breakfast room could be bigger as it got crowded after 9am and peoople had to queue to just sit down! Would have nice to Indicate us to the nearest garage not say it o.k to park by the streets and say that the fine is only 5 euro that doesn't sound very good we want to make sure our car is safe!(we not from germany don't know the city regulation so we justed wanted to be sure)" (99146353)
