  Clean, recently refurbished, pleasant and helpful staff. Our room was very nice.

  Service in the restaurant was very slow - had to wait 20 minutes for coffee at end and probably would have waited longer without a reminder.

  Comfortable beds. good location on town square. very helpful reception staff. off street parking

  hideous decor in rooms - walls and furniture all grey - quite depressive. bathroom had clear glass panes which could be seen through window from garden. smell of fresh paint

  "A recently modernised traditional hotel with well appointed rooms. The dining room is delightful along with a high standard of cuisine. Continental breakfast provided was good. We very much enjoyed our time in Lyon la Foret along with our walks in the surrounding woodland. This is our third visit to this beautiful village and we hope it won't be long before we return again." (97284008)

  "Have stayed three times before because we like the hotel's location and the parking facility. We found the staff helpful and anxious to please. The dinner provided a choice that suited us. We enjoyed drinks in the garden. We particularly liked Room 5 - which we have had before - because of its view of the square." (97846093)

  "To get into the car park one must follow the signs. I went up the alley and damaged my rental car trying to make the turn into the park. We left quite early in the morning and the woman was up and ready for us to check out. Friendly staff. The breakfast was worth the price - also didn't see many alternatives in town.   Clean, good-sized room. Fluffy towels. The woman who runs the place was very friendly and helpful -even with my limited french!

  "More information is required on room standards as clearly there are superior and basic accommodation. The accommodation was clean but very dated. We felt we were not encouraged to use the bar facility." (2199604)

  Soft white fluffy towels.Easy and safe parking.

  Decor needs to be updated. The Bar needs to be open at the times advertised and more welcoming than a morgue. The bed needs to be horizontal instead of convex.
