  Pleasant staff, and well appointed accommodation.

  Heating was off, and the window wide open. It was one of the coldest nights of the year.

  "Fingle Glen is not yet ready to be a family hotel. It lacked warmth. Yes it is a golf course with wonderful views of the course and the countryside, but not suitable for a family with young children. Night security needs addressing: on our return on Saturday night, fog reduced visibility to 50 metres, there was no light in the carpark, nor around the building, main door was locked (2355) access WAS VIA THE FIRE ESCAPE, " (107268433)

  quiet location, scenic views of the golf course, food was freshly prepared, generous portion sizes, excellent west country breakfast.

  the hotel is too masculine, no feminine features, nor is is family friendly. entrance resembles a visit to a garden centre, room was too small for a family of four, double bed stuffed into a single room, no children tv channels, no satellite tv, children play area, highchair, no security lights at night outside the building in the car park or at the entrance, fire exit door used as entry into building at night which was left open,

  "The room, was very modern and was a suite. Plasma tv, power shower etc, quiet location and staff were very relaxed, friendly and left you alone. Exceeded our expectations. The look from the outside was not particulay appealing, however it is a Golf club. The entrance was adequte and quiet, and once upstairs into the accomodation it was very pleasing. Would return and recommend to others." (97806516)

  Bedroom recently refurbished, therefore clean, bright and modern. Well stocked mini bar, 2 complimentary bottles of water.

  Bedroom small and bathroom was the smallest I have ever stayed in! TV reception was very poor with only 4 channels. Walls were paper thin and was disturbed the whole night with someone snoring next door. Towels were paper thin and curtains barely joined together.
