  The hotel hostess was gracious and accommodating. Loved the ambiance of this hotel and area. Great hikes nearby.

  "We were wonderfully surprised when we arrived. The hotel was so quaint and the furnishings were beautiful. It was close to Garmish and we could just take off and enjoy the many wonderful sights close by. The breakfast was abundant and fresh, my husband loved the coffee. The hotel was quiet inside and we felt like we were the only guests there. They had horses and we visited with them often. There was a walking path directly across the street which we used and also found a path through the forrest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend the Hirth to our friends. I hope to return also on one of our week-ends away." (99127597)

  The setting was gorgeous. The owner was so accomoday=ting and friendly and spoke wonderful english. the food was superb, and the other guests were very friendly. The balcony was a wonderful place to relax, and we took day trips from the hotel because of it's location. it was a pleasure to return.

  My husband said the traffic on the strret bothered him, but I didn't even really notice it.
