  "BAsic, but represented good value for money. During our stay, the Gasthaus bar and cafe area was consistently the busiest in the town! A positive testament to the quality of the serive and food. " (97071508)

  Staff were friendly and helpful, in spite of my limited ability to speak German. Food quality was very good. This was our firs 'Gasthaus'exerience in Germany and the accommodation was clean but basic with only a small sachet of shower gel provided. Value for money was good.

  I experienced difficulties booking this accommodation online -- not the hotel's fault, rather the booking service. The service would not let me book multiple nights (I booked two separate single nights that caused a little confusion at the Gasthaus) and in spite of accepting Amex, the webpage would not let me input the 4 digit security code, insisting on the 3 digit Visa/MC code. Feedback was provided directly to the service and acknowledged.

  "Excellent value for money and a good stop off point when driving from the Channel ports to Bavaria. The Castle is well worth another look too!" (97763236)

  Perfect location in market square beneath castle, extremely friendly, very good beer and food and atmospheric decor

  Room was a bit basic but they would probably have given me a more attractive one had I been with Lady!
