Comfy and clean, liked alarm service and TV and kettle.
On the Friday and Saturday nights I was kept awake from the band playing downstairs, the music was that loud I could hear the words to every song. I was staying in room 274. I had to be up early the next mornings. Price of hotel was steep.

wonderful interior, fab bedrooms and even better bathroom!very clean, friendly staff. 1st class reception people, very welcoming.
food poor, expensive for an ordinary or even under par food, went next door to eat on the second day - at the burger place

Crowne Plaza Liverpool - John Lennon Airport, Port Sunlight commentarios"Stunning hotel, used to be an airport terminal and was refurbished in 2001 in full, beautiful art deco - which even follows through to the room - little touches, laid wood veneers, marble bathroom, art deco furniture and materials. So many hotels give you the 'nice lobby, generic room' experience, but not here! It follows through to every little detail. It's near the airport, but we didn't hear the planes, so was perfect for our city break (20 min drive, if that, to Albert Dock). Not too expensive for a citybreak, and parking a reasonable £2.... in the carpark which you share with 4 planes.... NICE TOUCH!" (107452764)
We upgraded to an Executive room for £20 on arrival, which gave a slightly bigger room, window, a king size bed (lovely!) and robes/breakfast/use of the executive lounge, which was well stocked.
Um... Safe didn't work in the room (!) I've never used one before, but on the one occassion I needed to, it was faulty! 8o) However, reception had security envelopes and kept my valuables in their safe. No problems!

Comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities
When we checked in, their price was more than the original reservation (they had £86 on their computer and you were charging £68) and they said it would be changed. When we checked out, this had not been done. Photocopy of our original reservation was then made by receptionist and we were charged the lower amount. Also we were under the impression that the money had been debited when the reservation was made on line, but they said it was not. So I hope we have not been charged twice! Also the room was cold and we could not adjust the heating properly

Nice look on the whole (except dirt on the floor), good furniture in rooms, good location for the airport
Rooms not soundproof (and noisy neighbours unchecked), and especially my husband was challenged while taking a stroll on the presmises as if he were an outsider, being asked his name and room number with little ceremony. This is the first time it ever happened to us in a four or five-star hotel!!

lovely clean fresh rooms, great hospitality and staff, it's great to be able to have breakfast from 6 am.
food coulb be better and fresher, it tastes pre-prepared and looks it too, especially breakfast

Lovely hotel, very tastefully and interestingly decorated etc. Excellent breakfast. Our committments didn't permit us to have dinner in the hotel. We will definitely do so next time.

Very helpful staff who sorted out a problem with the initial room very quickly
One courtyard had a disco on it which was loud up to 1 in the morning. The cleaning staff had not reported a problem with the rooom which they should have noticed

First impression is very good, the style and decor feel very luxurious and you feel that you've made the right choice. Comfortable bed.
When actually using the facilities it became obvious that all was not well. Dirty plugholes in the bathroom, dirty marks on the furniture and doors especially on glass. Empty bottles and vases left in corridors. Abrupt staff.
