Hotel Victorian design and atmosphere. Breakfast served in the large and light ballroom was nice.
In a four star hotel I expected to find at least toothpaste in the bathroom but it wasn't there, unfortunately. Also the hotel website notes that toiletries are Molton Brown which they weren't; it isn't all that important of coarse but you would expect the information to be accurate, expecially that of a four star hotel. Dining places were only open certain hours and considering that the hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere, you couldn't just pop out to sandwish bar round the corner if you were hungry.
