The room was clean and comfortable.
Staff persisted in leaving our bathroom window open after cleaning. As our room had a road directly outside this window, we were worried about security. We did not make a reservation for dinner and found ourselves in the bizarre situation of being turned away from a large, empty resturant because we hadn't booked. It seemed very odd and no explanation was given. Please give the breakfast boys a uniform something other than a crumpled white t-shirt.

I liked very much the relaxed and helpful atmosphere of the Hotel. I interacted mainly with the front desk personnel, but also the cook, and a couple of waiters. I appreciated the hotel's policy of sharing the tips (gratuities) equally among the 'front' and 'back' staffs. I found the food to be excellent. I appreciated the ability to individually control the heat and hot water in my room. As a foreigner, it took me a day or so to make the toilet flush properly (depress the handle the whole way and then let go quickly & completely) without having to take the tank lid off and artifically depress the float so the water would fill to the brim of the overflow tube.
No bad points. Future registrants should know that the hotel is 10 miles north of Fort William, and yet there is a bus stop within 50 yards of the hotel front door, and the buses stop for passengers going to Ft. William, and returning from there.

The room was clean and tidy
It was not clear where to go for food, and the price structure of the breakfasts. Also the rooms were very light because of the street lights outside need thicker curtains

Room was warm, Bed was comfortable, tv worked.
Staff not trained or managed to interact with customers. Left standing with staff ignoring me on several occasions. Had to ask for several things twice at breakfast...tea...toast. Staff were pleasent but very inefficient - don't know any better. Shower didn't work properly.
