The day receptionist was very nice and helpful.
On arrival we couldn't check in as we were too early, however we were going to be out late so advised reception we would have to check in at 1am instead - this was fine and the receptionist took our bag for us so that we didn't have to leave it in the car. On arrival that night we were allocated a twin room instead of a double, we complained, were given a key card for an alternative room - which had someone elses luggage in, we complained again and were given a 3rd room, which sadly had people in bed in it - very embarrasing all round. We ended up back in the twin room, sadly the beds in this room were old and had springs coming through them. We complained the following morning and were allocated a new room for our second night. In addition, I should also mention that the quality of breakfast was dreadful - the croissants were so squashed it was beyond belief! Finally we actually had to ask for a discount which should have been offered given the complete fiasco on our first night. We eventually got a £10 discount.

On the internet it advised to use ncp car park and then get token validated. However on checking in advised that this is not policy any more. Was not informed of changes. Then advised that in future i need to park in a retail car park. Felt like i had done something wrong!! and i was being told off!! Not professional

Very nice hotel, easy to find and within easy reach of all major amenities.
Very little parking if any at all, spent nearly 2 hours of my weekend just finding somewhere to park as the hotel had no dedicated parking facilities. Although some free parking was provided, this was only via a shared car park with a nearby retailer, and only overnight between the hours of 5pm and 9am.

Comfortable, clean room
Shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold, and you couldn't make the temperature stay. It would go hot and cold of it's own accord.

quite nice rooms, good shower,hairdryer.
no car park but if you park in the car park behind matalan its only 70 p for an overnight stay so no problem.no bath,no restuarant for eve meals although they do have a lot of takeaway menus in reception and you can eat them in the bar area. Room was smokey as non smokers we boked a non smoking room.

Good value
Sunday Breakfast was a disaster, little or no food left at 9.35. On complaining to a member of staff, we were told there was nothing left and she moaned that the staff over there should should be helping her! I don`t know what happened to the promised smile. This comment applies to Sunday only, the other two breakfasts were good.

Our experience was good. The receptionist was so helpful and pleasant.
Breakfast bar was poorly designed so queues formed unnecessarily. car parking uses the Matalin carpark over the road and is limited to after shop closing time. you have to pay and display after 10am.

I was comfotable, clean and tidy and had everything I needed.
We had a fire alarm go off and the forms don't have the meeting point on them, just the fire exits. No one came out and told us that it was a false alarm and it was only that we noticed the lifts working again that we knew it was safe to re-enter the building. It was almost as if no-one else knew it was going on other than my floor and the one above.

Noise from other guests returning at 2/3/4 am and knocking for their sharing guests to answer doors. Not your fault but perhaps when 2 sharing you could offer additional swipe cards

Clean and comfortable
I found the breakfast provided did not meet my needs; I have a Wheat and dairy free diet.It would have been nice to have a better selection of fruit.
