Friendly atmosphere; good service; good meals; clean bedrooms; nice beer!
No bad points really but couldnt take my luggage back to the car before breafast from the single chalet as Reception didnt open until 7am. Apart from that - everything fine.

The hotel was comfortable, food was very good and the hotel is excellent value for money.
The decor is getting very tired and could do with freshning up. However major developement is going on at the hotel and no doubt this will be part of the developement.

Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable and the hotel was easy to find. We would be more than happy to use the hotel again if visiting the area.
One of the electrical items was not working satisfactory.

The staff were excellent and the service at the meals and the meals themselves were good.
The shower didn't run hot so we had to bath instead which was inconvenient. I had to pay at check out and thought I had already paid online which was confusing so I thought I had paid twice for the room etc so that was embarrasing

The room was very spacious with plenty of space for clothing and suitcase although had a slight damp feel to it. There was also ample parking which was nice.
The net curtain could have been a little better and the rail it was hanging on was broken.Also the lighting in the bedroom was not bright enough to read or do crosswords by, which we like to do whilst away.

Room was large but smelt of pot puree
smell of pot puree. bath taps didnt work only had shower. food looked good but was very overcooked. had roast beef - beef like shoe leather and yorkshire pud needed a drill to break. breakfast not much better

Excellent service at breakfast on the saturday morning
A little disappointed that there was no one on reception and it took over 5 minutes for someone to answer the telephone.The shower did not work in our room, bathroom in general could do with a little maintainance

What a gem, the food was excellent, the staff extreamly helpful,probably the best value for money hotel I have ever used, cant really fault it
if there is a bad point , the room was a little gruby, but thats 'nit picking'

Excellent friendly staff. Very large rooms. Lots of parking. Easy to find. Quiet. Breakfast was superb quality, unusually for hotels the breakfast coffee was fine and refilled with a smile.

Good value for money. Room was clean & tidy and breakfast was also included in room rate.
The only thing was that the net curtain in the bathroom window was not adequate as could be seen straight through which could be rather embarassing when taking a bath or shower.

Lovely hotel inside. Friendly staff. Good value for money.
Hotel is a bit secluded, nothing else in the surrounding area, apart from one other pub which is ok if you're only staying the night. Did'nt think much of their restaurant menu, bit fancy for us!

Fantastic food served in the restaurant, including breakfast which was amazing value as it was included in the room charge! Good level of service and amazing value for money.
Bathroom looked a little dated, apart from that though there were no real bad points at all.

Very spacious room overlooking fields at rear/side of hotel. Powerful shower, lots of hot water. Good variety of TV channels. Lucky our stay coincided with Sunday night entertainment in the bar - a duo (keyboard and singer) - they were very good!!
This is not really a bad point, but no where else to comment. Dinner main course portions were enormous - maybe too big for some people. We're glad we only ordered a main course. Breakfast buffet and plates could have been hotter.

Everything was as it should be. There were no problems with any part of the stay. It was good value. The rooms we used were clean. The service could not be faulted. Ample parking.
Not so much a bad point more an observation. 'Some' building fabric may be due for replacement in the near future, but it was clean.

Friendly staff clean large room good parking price free WiFi pub in hotel
poor sound proofing Saturday night some guests where loud. Could hear people in the next room. hot water was very hot. Shower had funky controls and almost burnt foot.

Friendliness of staff, buffet breakfast.
Room was generally scruffy with cobwebs in room and bathroom, carpet and bedspread in bedroom stained and bathroom lacked a curtain to the window which reduced privacy at night.

Staff were all extremely helpful. Quality of food was excellent and there was a warm atmosphere about the place. Breakfast was especially good, yum!!!

staff were very helpful and kind
Wallpaper was pealing off the walls in the dining room, the bathroom was shabby, blankets on the bed which is quite old fashioned and not deemed as clean as quilts. the room had a very musty smell, I opened the windows immediately but it did linger.

Excelente trato del personal, especialmente de una chica española; desayuno completo y bueno; habitaciones limpias y bien decoradas.
Fue un poco difícil encontrar el hotel en la noche.
