Large airy room with superb sea view. Pleasant and welcoming attitude of staff.
I booked the stay on the Internet but, when we arrived the hotel, it had no record of this. Fortunately it was not full so there was no problem, but, if it had been fully booked, there would of course have been one! Presumably there had been a failure of communication somewhere along the line and it would be as well for Best Western to look for pitfalls in its central booking system.

The whole experience was entirely enjoyable;our room (104) was superb and we enjoyed all our meals. The staff were polite, efficient and, above all, friendly
the hair-dryer in the room wasn't very efficient.

The staff were fantastic - every one person of staff we met was friendly and helpful, particularly Pam and Owen in the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was excellent and so good, we invited our daughter and son-in-law to join usfor dinner on the second night.
Theroom we had was a bit peculiar in that we had a king size bed and then another smaller room with a bed in it and an en-suite services for both - not really bad points. The only bad thing about our stay was the lighting (main) in the bedroom. It was very dim!!!!!

location
small double bed and staff not very organised - woken up at 12.30 a.m. by someone delivering a sandwich, which was for another room, then being charged for it on our bill!

The room and facilities were fine but the bathroom needed refurbishing. The small Car park needs to be re-organised. I was blocked in by non residents continuously. However, the food, service and attitude from staff was very good. Although this review may appear critical. We enjoyed our stay and will consider staying again." (99453095)
Very clean pleasantly furnished room, with superb view.
The bed was old and mattress worn. Bath/shower fittings were worn,tired and dated.

The accomodation was a very pleasant and clean hotel. The staff were very helpful and cheerful.
The fact that once we had arrived at the hotel we were told that the leisure facilities were not available due to renovation work. This was not displayed on the web sight when we booked.

The Best Western Bulkeley Hotel, Beaumaris commentarios"Although the whole hotel is in need of refurbishment there are some improvements that could be made immediately and at no cost. Menus wer stuck in glass cabinets with blue tack and were crooked. Items stored behind furniture and visible. Dead plants all over the place. There was no mention upon booking that the gym was not functioning. The whole place was dated and with a dusty appearance. The most disapointing was the food. Lacking imagination and mass prepared. It was what we would have expected in a Blackpool Beda and Breakfast. We have stayed at much better establishments for similar price." (2541257)

The website made no mention of the alterations going on in the cellar wine bar and main bar, which were both closed. The bedrooms are in urgent need of refurbishment as they are very tatty. The heating was attrocious in the bedrooms. The first room we were in had no hot water, a gale blowing through poorly fitting windows and a radiator that did not work. We got moved to another room which was only slightly warmer but at least it had hot water.

Room had been newly converted and was not operational, should not have been let. The bathroom had no hot water despite three complaints hotel could not put this right. Had to boil water in the kettle for a shave.Shower not working, badly plumbed and no hot water. could not shower. Complaints not handled satisfactorly.Both my wife and I were very dissapointed in the accomodation and service.No other rooms available, and despite the management saying they would fix the problems , nothing done whilst we were there. Hotel wished to charge £107.00 per night for this room." (1922250)

Room cold, heating not working, No hot water in room working.Had to boil water in a kettle to have a shave. Complained three times before leaving. Complaints were not dealt with.

Short on childrens facilities. Alternative Bistro eating facilities uninviting and sparsley furnished, open to passing guests and visitors, not in keeping with main dining room which has nice layout and facilities.
