Location, room well equiped and spotless. Very friendly atmosphere.
Hotel restaurant not open for dinner Mon - Thur but two pubs in village of Malham (200 metres)serve resonable food. Magpies, ducks, crows and numerous other birds all compete for the loudest squawk ...day and night!!!

Beck Hall, Settle commentarios"A lovely setting with helpful proprietors, they coped well with difficult weather conditions (offering torches to borrow, helping to shift cars that were stuck in snow). A great base for a walking holiday." (107761760)
Helpful staff, warm and cosy, lovely setting, lovely architectural features, evening meal was offered (although we didn't know this in advance)
In need of modernising (decoration of bedrooms), no replacement of tea tray items on 2nd day, would like to see decaff coffee on tea tray

poor parking. carrying of cases from parking area to main entrance over gravel pathway was difficult for elderly people

Beck Hall, Settle commentarios"It is nice to know what dining facilities there are in the immediate area and we were told this in an email received before leaving home. It is also nice to know how near you are to walks etc. and this hotel was situated within easy reach of many lovely walks, there was always a welcoming fire after a chilly walk, and drinks etc ready available without having to bother anyone at the hotel. It was excellen." (97527042)
The beautiful area, the lovely couple who ran it, the information about the facilities and walks in the area. We booked in for one night and we stayed for three.
