We didn't have to stay in the hotel long

Bed was very comfortable, room was good and breakfast was excellent.
A lot of noise out in the square in the early hours of the morning. Very rowdy young people which I appreciate is nothing to do with the hotel but we were reliably informed that this is a regular occurence and other guests complained of this noise in the morning.

Booked a DBB package for £80 - Very good value for money. Good food, well presented and great portions !! Excellent views of Welsh countryside. Central location to village which has many pubs and places to eat. Comfortable & adequate room.
Very active night life in the small village.

Good value for money stay and very good breakfast.
My room was a bit basic being like an atic room, my freinds had a very nice room (room 3). Welcome was poor and consisted of here is your key you are in Room X and you are in room y but no welcome to our hotel hope you enjoy your stay plus I objected at having to sign for the tv remote control and return it to reception when I left, (a totally new experience).

All the staff were friendly,helpful and polite. The service was excellent.Food was very good.Room was warm and comfortable.
Location of hotel was next to a noisy pub, and there was no double glazing. Having said that it did not detract from our enjoyment,and the hotel cannot be responsible for drunken yobs in the street.

Excellent value for money at £35 for double room with breakfast.
No-one at reception when booking in. It appeared that the staff were stretched thinly and had to multi-task!! Originally given twin room although double room had been clearly booked, and only double subsequently available was up 6 flights of stairs!!

In general hotel, food and staff very good.
Our room was on the front of the hotel which had lovely views but unfortunately was spoilt by rowdiness at closing time which went on till 2 am.

Room a little care-worn and cramped. Our view was of one-side of a pitched roof. Desk staff non-existent. As always, tiny tea-cups - does anyone prefer these over mugs anymore?

The hotel is in need of refurbishment not just redecoration. I had to request a room change having been allocated room 9. None of the staff made us aware that access at night required a code.

The position of hotel was excellent as it was in the centre of the town square. It had private car parking. Security code required to gain access at the rear of the building. The breakfast food was good.
The staff closed the bar at 10.00am with guests staying in the hotel and put them in another room with no facilities. The top floor rooms had a restrictive head height of 5FT which resulted in having to crouch down when entering. The bedroom had a broken window covered up with a piece of cardboard. There was leaks in the foyer beside the restaurant.

Room very reasonably priced. Excellent, friendly, very helpful staff. Superb position. Good beer.
Very hard beds: our hips still hurt. The food was very expensive for what it was. The disparity between lunchtime and dinnertime prices was hard to explain.

The staff were friendly and understanding. When I complained about the room (see bad points) they quickly got us into another nearby quieter hotel.
Our room overlooked the pub next door. We cam back about half 11 to shouting, people being sick (!), and loud music just outside our window.

The hotel was generally clean and tidy with very friendly and professional staff and good food.
There was an odd smell in the room, which we think may have been one of the cleaning products, it was off-puting at first but it didnt spoil our stay one bit.

Friendly and helpful reception lady who gave useful advice on directions and helped me to change to a quite room for me to stay for two more nights
For the 2nd night, a party in the pub next door was still on going after 1pm. As my room was with a window next to the pub, I could not sleep until the party was over. Signals for wireless internet connection was weak in some rooms.
