  Was very central, with easy access to many of the attractions in Hamburg. Was also particularly convenient considering the vanue of the conference--Bucherius Law school. Also was opposite the Blumen and Fonten an extraordinary park, and close to the harbour-- both listed amongst the top ten Hamburg attractions The staff were particularly helpful and friendly

  will be better once the renovations are complete.

  "Our stay at the hotel overall was very nice. The hotel has a nice bar on site and also a theatre and a bowling alley. The rooms were clean and quite modern for the age of the hotel. The room we were in was quite spacious with a wardrobe, trousers press, mini bar, safe and hairdryer. Some of our friends however had a tiny room (a double room) and didn't have very much space at all. The walls were very thin so you could hear what was going on in other rooms around you but to be honest we didn't spend enough time at the hotel for it to be an issue. It was within easy walking distance of the nightlife but not too close to the reeperbahn to be disturbed by it. There is a train station very close by so you could easily link to other areas within the city. We walked everywhere however and the shopping centre is only approx 10-15 mins away on foot. The breakfast was very nice and there was plenty of choice of both hot and cold food. If I visited Hamburg again I would consider booking at this hotel again." (99265428)

  Proximity to the places we wanted to visit and it was clean.

  Very steep stairs going up to the rooms and the lift is very small, probably due to the age of the building but that was not a real issue.
