  "I paid £199 for this room for 2 nights and for this price I would expect a good clean room and a decent breakfast." (107848604)

  Staff were friendly but there was not a lot of them. The girl who checked me in ran through from reception to the bar to serve me a drink. Bar Supper was good.

  Room smelled. Table service only at breakfast. The girl who took my order was very pleasant but gave me the wrong breakfast 3 times. Breakfast on the first morningwas fine but on the Sunday I got 1 teaspoon of scrambled eggs, 1 rasher bacon, 1 sausage. It wouldnt have filled a mouse. There are no lifts in the hotel and it was quite a good walk to the room.

  The Hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The Food was excellent and the overall cleanliness and decor of the Hotel was great. The Leisure Facilities were also really good and we found that we didn't need to leave the Hotel at all.

  The exterior of the Hotel looked a little tired and in areas (the main Reception entrance) a little shabby which in no way was reflected in the interior, thankfully.

  "I wouls never stay at that hotel again. Terrible staff , terrible service , food only available for an hour and 15 minutes in the evening. Waited 25mins in the breakfast hall and ended up leaving without any." (107932198)

  It has a gym.

  Very poor customer experience. Staff not interested. Food only served between 19:45 and 21:00. When i asked where to go for something to eat , i was told to go to the cafe in Tescos. Waited 25 mins for someone to take my breakfast order and ending up leaving as i had to go to work. I had no breakfast.

  "Lovely room ! Terrible dining arrangements." (108092541)

  On arrival a pleasant receptionist attended to us and offered assistance to our room which we did not require.

  First breakfast was very good although had to ask twice for saute potatoes. Saturday lounge meal..three times had to ask for bread as listed with soup..still waiting and called the head waitress who apologised.This was followed by the steak pie which my wife had ordered. On lifting the pastry we found a sea of gravy and two small cubes of meat. My main course had been served but my wife had a further 20 minutes to wait for her meal. On the Sunday morning breakfast was 'halved' and some of the menu non existant as and I quote 'we have 71 guests to feed this morning'said the waitress in attendance. I asked to speak with the duty manager and had to approach him myself in the dining room and bring him to our table to explain. He said he would look into the situation and I still await his reply. There was no organisation whatsoever in the dining area as guests came sat down and were served before those already waiting. The last morning of the visit was no different from the other two so I paid(more than most guests that weekend) and left disgusted.

  cant think of any

  the service at the bar and restaurant was nothing short of atrocious,the beer from the fridges was warm and the buffet breakfast was cold,the staffing level was totally under staffed and the food menu was very poor.
