  "The owner was very friendly and breakfast was good. £120 for two night did not reflect good value in September we stayed in a four star hotel near by for only £20 more for the two night stay. We had travelled for 13 hours so were tired but the bed was comfy and we had a good nights sleep. We would not consider staying there again nor would we recommend it to anyone There were no guest reviews to read so our booking was a shot in the dark. One which did not work, had we have been staying for a week I would have checked out after day one. The owner clearly has regular guests who seem to travel to the area to work so cheap B&B would be the order of the day. Its a shame to make suh comments when with a little bit of thought and investment it could be a reasonable B&B. Alas I feel the are better ones in the area in the same price range. We moved onto the Camanile and although a two star hotel it was much nicer than Olive House." (107760100)

  Location, Owner friendly ,breakfast good, free off street parking

  A tired guest house in need of major refurbishment. On entering a musty smell pervaded the room. Bathroom fixtures were broken, handle on door broken, cracked and loose tiles no glasses to use. Our room was cluttered with no room for our cases. The bathroom had no heating and the central heating was just about enough to take the chill off the room . Only had one bath towel and one hand towel between two of us. Owner never took the time to tell us about a hairdyer we found it on the last day hidden in a draw.
