Das Weitzer, Graz commentaires"I was very disappointed with what the hotel offered - I had decided to switch to a smoking room, dreaming of a nice cold drink (whiskey on ice) and a cigarillo, so when the receptionist informed me that smoking rooms have no air conditioning I said that's fine - and when I got to my room the mini bar didn't have any whisky or ice, the wine wasn't cold enough either, there was no price list of contents, no list about the hotels facilities in the room and the coffee supplied by room service was horrible." Receptionists were very friendly and tried to help as best as they could - unfortunately their power was limited, some of this may have had to do with the refurbishment...
Mini Bar wasn't cold enough at all and very poorly stocked - as the hotel is currently being refurbished they also didn't have a bar to get room service for ice or drinks not in the mini bar, the only restaurant didn't stock what I wanted either. For a 4-star hotel I expected a lot more/better. I had stayed at this hotel a few times several years ago and it was much better then.

nice environment, close to historical center, quiet (excellent double windows)
no air-conditioning only ventilation (at least the ventilation in our room did not produce cold air) breakfast not included in the price of the room (never heard of such thing in case of a 4 star hotel) cracked wash basin
