"Achieved our objectives for staying in Fes. When visiting the Medina, an amazing experience, don't be influenced by Lonely Planet's overhype of locals hassling you and getting lost. It is straightforward and safe. Bring your own toilet roll (as always, everywhere)" (108769763)
Superb facilities, good food, great pool, quiet, bed so comfortable. Staff in restaurants very good, others in reception/bar less so.
Air conditioning poor, sinks in bathroom drained soooh slowly, one surly receptionist who would not give a 2 hr checkout extension even though hotel not full (we took a fair bit anyway), the swimming pool area needs a young lad (a runner) to take and deliver drinks orders as the old lags in the bar could not be bothered (this is a clear example of how to force willing spenders to keep their money in their pockets)
