the staff were very helpful and freindly. It appreared that the hotel was being upgraded, their was lots of working going on,some items were very old others brand new. The guy in the dining room looking after us was excellent, helpful and polite.

The staff were really helpful and friendly and went that extra mile to make us feel welcome.
We arrived early on Sunday afternoon and it appeared that the hotel was shut as it looked on first glance that it was all closed up! On reading the sign on the front door we realised we just needed to push the solid fronted door to go in, but on first glance it was a worry it was closed. The room appeared to be fitted out for disabled access and while the room was clean and tidy, the sink in the bathroom was very difficult to use as it was tiny, very low and very close to the toilet!

The room was very small. Wardrobe could only hold four items of clothing and there were no drawers. The ceiling fan only worked if you had the light on and it was too noisy to open the window.

The hotel is just ten minutes walk from Elephant & Castle tube station. Hotel staff were very friendly. There was free mineral water for all guests in the lobby. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast (serial, juice,scrambled eggs on toast)was fine. Shower/toilet area was small but perfectly adequate.
No elevator meant walking up a few flights of stairs to our room. Personally I liked that as it keeps me fit, but for older people or those with a lot of luggage it could be a hassle.

When asked for an taxi, receptionist called me a taxi driver( I would say- a friend of hotel staff ) that drove like a crazy man, writting down the notes, phoning and speed driving at the same time. At the end, no cards were acceptable by "cab driver" and off course no licence number was available.

Breakfast was good,and the staff friendly.
Like to have a room with a sink in,as I like to shave first thing in the morning. All other hotels have had this facility until now. No fresh tray of tea making ingrediants left in my room each morning, which I also get in other hotels.

Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast
Internet site said every room had Internet access; this was not the case in my room. I had to sit in the foyer with my laptop. The only reason I booked this hotel was because Internet in the room had been promised. Bathroom cold and shabby, and water pressure in the shower very low.

The Bridge Hotel, London commentaires"excellent location, great people work there but this place is only suitable for people with huge acceptance of a bit of filth, small space and budget furniture. the ceilings are high but surrounding are depressive, claustrophobic and "cold". i would not able to stay whole day there (lay down in bed...)or for long term. but if you used to live in student's flats and on a very tight budget with strong need/wish to stay in the center of london it's a good place to book. Fantastic oriental Atmospher in the restaurant, The restaurant serves clean and good Intercontinental breakfast, plus HALAL Meals This hotel is Children-Friendly (they provide good and clean Cots) The staff were very generous, friendly and helpful Excellent Internet Access Comfortable and clean beds and rooms Large fridge with free spring water and Fruits in it I recommend this hotel to couples, families, even for Buisiness and Liesure I specialy recommend this hotel for people with HALAL food requirements

Helpful and friendly staff. Clean room.
No restaurant available for evening meals either at hotel or in neighbourhood. Breakfast poorly organised. Smell in corridors. very basic facilities in room.

Quirky, interesting place. There was a fridge in the room containing complementary fruit, and I was offered free water and soft drinks. The heating was very responsive (useful given the weather). Bathroom recently modernised. I got an extremely good price for London.

Pleasant staff, nice warm clean room, good breakfast, great location only 15-20 minutes walk to Tate Britain or Westminster.
A little more expensive than the places I usually stay but probably not excessively so given location and privacy.

Cheapest I could find. Handy for seeing London, friendly staff.
All minor to me, but no sink in room, no phone in room, shower on my floor was out of order and I couldn't find shower on other floor and breakfast cutlery all sticky with yuk.

Staff very welcoming. Room clean and large. Complimentary soft drinks. Free luggage security after check-out. 24 hour access. Breakfast included.
Shower but no bath. No lift. Breakfast restaurant very dark. Cooked breakfast scrambled egg and toast only.

Very friendly staff and helpful.
No lift, It's only a pain as I had so much stuff to carry. It can't be helped and I am on the ground floor for my next stay there.

good, friendly and helpful staff, my 1st time in london and they gave me excellent service regarding sightseeing and directions, hotel was an excellent location, i wanted to see tower bridge, but the man on reception pointed out if i went the opposite way towards london eye, i can walk to tower bridge along the thames and see over sights as well, very helpful and good clean rooms with good facilities
none really, probably price of £65 a night seems a bit much but i have never stayed in london so im only comparing to hotels in other cities, so it may be a good price for london, i dont know
