A very small room with having a four poster bed, but beautifully clean.
2 lights not working, one bedside lamp and the small razor light in bathroom. Should have said, but we managed ok without bothering the proprietors,who were very busy with a full hotel.

Very clean and good location
Due to arriving early we were greeted in a rude manner! This left us feeling very uncomfortable and if it wasn't for the fact our payment had already been taken we would have left!

Friendly owners and a great location.
Visibility is poor when leaving main car park. maybe a convex mirror should be installed on the facing wall?

We found a staff member abrupt and lacking graciousness (even rude) when someone missed there breakfast (by 2 minutes) and on a couple of other occasions. It was such a shame as it spoiled a otherwise lovely experience. The housekeeper was lovely however.

Arrived down for breakfast at 9.18 and was told that we had missed cooked breakfast as cut off time for cooked breakfast was 9.15! we were allowed toast and had to ask for orange juice which we were given reluctantly.

Location was a short walk to all the bars and good restaurants in both Bowness and Windermere etc but quiet location when back at hotel." (108033229)
Excellent hosts, food outstanding in quality/choice and accommodation very clean and comfortable (lovely beds). Location of hotel was very good.

Braemount Guest House, Windermere commentaires"The view from my bedroom was a roof, if i had known this before hand i could have requested a room with a view, this did not detract from the pleasent stay and overall expierience of the accomodation for me. The room itself was small but well furnished with a large bed and on suite facilities. Paul and Debbie are friendly and do stress that should you need anything to just ask. The area ia very quiet and yet only a few minuets from the local town. I had no problems parking the car as there is space for about five cars at the rear of the building, and space for another two at the side. You can also park in the road which as i have mentioned is very quiet. The breakfast was excelent. A choice of cereals and juices as well as toast and a full english you may need a sleep before attempting any walking. In your room there is a welcome stating that it is hoped you will go away as a friend. I have to say Debbie and Paul do make you feel you are a friend and not a guest." (97164406)
The proximity to local shops and services is great.

the hotel is first class as well as the hosts we could not fault anything about our stay from checking in we were presented with glasses of wine and given info ranging from nice walks to good places to dine the breakfast was excellent with fresh brewed coffee and a full range of breakfast on offer we wouldnt hesitate to return or recommend our friends

The room was warm with a very comfortable bed and I liked the idea of a seperate room with a sofa and t.v./dvd

breakfast was very tasty
building work ongoing outside window, i.e. a pekker breaking the rocks meant unable to use room comfortably during day.

Very freindly staff, made you feel at home from the moment you arrived
