We cannot fault any area of our stay at your hotel, it was exactly as it should be. We were impressed with the fact that our request for a quiet room was met. Thank you, we will definitely stay at The Datchet Mead again.

Good size room, and good size En-Suite/shower. Wireless internet available. Breakfast good, and general standard of cleanliness very good. Parking available.
Room very cold - extra heater provided. En-suite not heated so very cold indeed. The bar lacks any atmosphere, cold and uninviting. Did not try the restaurant though. Internet connection kept dropping out.

Excellent service, excellent for Windsor and/or airport. Very friendly and helpful staff. Taxi fare to Windsor about 6 pounds and to Heathrow about 17 pounds
Through Slough the area does not look so good but Datchet and surrounding better than first thought

Excellent location for our trip, good sized double room with whole hotel recently refurbished.
a bit of a food smell in the corridor upstairs, breakfast was limited (but nice).

Food was excellent, rooms clean and spacious and they made us very welcome. This hotel is excellent value for money and the service is in excess of what I would have expected for the money. They are working hard to upgrade the facilities and what they have done is good. I would certainly return." (97045843)

The Room had obviously just been refurbished and was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent.
The foyer and staircase were quite tiered looking, but there was letter in the room explaining that the refurbishment was still ongoing and apologising for the parts that had not yet been finished

Location. Needed a place close to heathrow
Hotel is in the proces of being renovated. There were few guests, and only one staff that you needed to take the time to find.

The room was good, good bed, nice flat screen TV.
The bar was bland and uninviting, chairs & bar stools were very uncomfortable, of 3 - beer fonts only 1 was on, when the barrel on the JSmiths was changed, the barman served the first pint, normally a barman throws the first two pints away, the first meal asked for from the menu was not available, the food served was poor eg chips were cooked in old smelling oil, spaghetti carbonara was pretty bland and tasteless.

Close to Windsor Price. Quiet inside the hotel.
A bit of noise from the outside. Insulated window (double glass) did not close very well. But OK in the end.

We stayed at the Datchet Mead for 2 nights myself,husband and two daughters we were greeted by a friendly gentlemen at the door who showed us in and then gave us our room keys. The rooms were pleasantly furnished one of them had just been refurbished and others were in the process of being done. Next morning we had a lovely freshly cooked breakfast served by a lovely young lady who was very polite and friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble. We were weary when we booked this hotel as it was such a cheap price but we need not have worried as this hotel was outstanding value for money and would gladly stay there again and recommend it to anyone.
