clean and tidy
we only ate in the resturant on a sunday evening and the expieriance was not a good one. food was ok and the staff were ok

Overall staff very friedly helpful and polite. Hotel very well presented.
One member of staff on reception could possibly have been a little bit more friendly with general booking.

staff were efficient + hotel and grounds very pleasant. Highly recommended.
Some staff busy talking to each other, not watching customers. Staff efficient, but not friendly. As a non drinker,one drink each of tea/coffee was not sufficient to allow for one on arrival, before bed and in the morning. Kettle faulty - had to hold down button to get it to work...

Excellent breakfast and communal areas...very clean and well maintained with masses of comfortable seating areas
The reason the room was only rated good was because of a certain amount of frustration trying to flush the toilet in the room and also the fact that it was necessary to leave it for at least 15 mins before it could be flushed again,also found the lighting in the room a bit dim even with all the lights on.

When booked in march i stated both me and my friend where disabled and if possible a 1st floor room near the lift was required but when i checked in i was put on the 3rd floor not near the lift

When we go back to Rotherham we will certainly be staying at this hotel again pictures on the internet don't do it justice.If you come by train I would advise to get a taxi to hotel as it is all uphill, but a nice walk back down into the town centre." Great service, especially at the bar when we were eating late, after the dance festival. Night porter was very accommodating when we stayed up late to chat and wanted to go outside to smoke.

None really perhaps the only thing I would say was tha the bedroom was too warm, but that could be a matter of personal taste.

The rooms were very clean and adequate. We had to wait in the bar for sometime before someone came and eventually served us. The breakfast served in your room experience was terrible, the standard of the breakfast was appalling, the quality of the food was very poor unless you like a very hard fried egg, burnt toast and bacon which had been sitting around for the past few hours. The waiter forgot to bring the coffee and when that arrived he didn't bring a cup. Apart from the food experience this hotel is clean, good location, not far from the M1 and is good value for money." We looked at a few other hotels around and about and found this one to look the most accomodating for our needs. It was recommended by our relatives due to the fact that they had enjoyed their Christmas Day meal and that we appreciate a certain level of cleanliness and professionalism when staying away from home. We found booking extremely easy on line. Our room was more than adequate the bed was very comfy and breakfast was also very good and appreciated. The hotel was extremely good value in comparison with hotels that we've stayed in before pound for pound." (97347884)
The hotel was clean and niceley decorated. The staff were very accommodating and efficient both on reception and at breakfast.

The hotel was stunning. Very comfortable and very friendly staff.
The hot water in the shower worked on arrival but did not work in the morning. There was no hot vegetarian options at the breakfast buffet. The hot food was left standing on a hot plate and was like a poor works canteen.

Nice room. Nice biscuits! Good facilities and great breakfast.
Terrible pillows. Small bed with dip in the middle. We are used to a kingsize bed which most hotels now have.

However, the only downside (and we have stayed twice in last 2 months) was the very slow inefficient breakfast staff. had to wait for eggs (only seem to bring out 6 at a time), then mushrooms, then toast, etc. This has happened twice and really should be reviewed. Otherwise fantastic, and loved the gym and pool, spa etc." (97205152)

The onsite facilities (pool area and gym) are excellent, with a pub and restaurant available of required. The rooms have all that is required for your stay (bed was too hard for my liking) but apart from that was good. I would like to have known about any evening entertainment before we arrived so that we could plan to involve it in our stay. Thanks" (97935757)
Very good facilities at the hotel including the gym and pool area. The room was very clean with everything you would need for any length of stay.
The only complaint I would have about the room was that the bed was too hard and consequently didnt have the best of nights sleep. The only other minor thing was I didnt enjoy was the sausages on the breakfast, they were somewhat tasteless (a good linconlsnire sausage would be good).

Cleanliness of room excellent. When asked a rubber shower mat was produced very promptly.
Only bad point - Please can you stop putting hot water for tea at breakfast in plastic jugs that have previously been used for coffee. The residual coffee flavour in the plastic jug is passed on to the tea and it tastes pretty awful. Everybody on our table of eight commented on the strange taste of the tea!!!!!!
