Clean, quiet and well kept
This sounds trival but really annoys me.........packet of bisciuts on hot drinks tray was completely smashed to crumbs/only one white suger had to have morning tea with brown.

We were asked if we wanted toast with our breakfast, we had to prompt staff for it after we had eaten our breakfast. The restaurant was not too busy, the staff did not pay enough attention. They need to listen to what people ask for instead of having to be prompted. The breakfast was very nice though. This would not prevent us from coming back again." (3305219390)

The room had everything we needed and was very tidy
The room was a bit noisy in the morning (Room 10) - kitchen extractor outside, housekeeping cupboard next to the room and the plumbing of the room above!

Breakfasts were very good, lots of fresh fruit etc and my boiled egg came with a smiley face!! I had room service in the evening, the food was poor on the first evening but very good on the second. The service was efficient and friendly. The hair dryer was rather old and broke down on the first morning, however another was brought to my room within five minutes, I couldn't have asked for better service." (3305225298)

Nice spacious room
It happened to be a heatwave. There was a fan but no airconditioning. Windows had not be opened so room was extremely hot.Also the food in the restaurant was extremely bad.

The room (a single) was well equipped and comfortable: as good or better than what one would expect from a three star hotel at this price. It was easy to check in and out and park- breakfast was excellent- freshly cooked, plenty of fresh fruit available, decent bread and a range of cereals. Complementary newspaper was a nice surprise." Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Pleasant dining room. Generally good value.
The vegetables with the main meal were quite awful - they tasted as if they had been steamed over fish - the cauliflower was yellow!

Non-smoking room (not a sprayed smoking room), good friendly service from reception.
Room service number just kept on ringing for 10 minutes(same number as reception). Went to reception where phone was not ringing. Order taken at reception & food delivered in 10 minutes. Room a bit cramped for working in with laptop(single room).

I wasnt impressed that there was not a restaurant on sight and couldn't have an evening meal in the hotel. As im on business a restaurant is necessary as the company pay for the accomodation etc using a credit card therefore when i had to eat out i had to pay myself and claim back.

The restaurant food was very good and the service was excellent
The heated towel rail was off and the room heating was not working.Reception said they would get it looked at.On our return the room heating was on full blast and was extremely hard to turn down. The towel rail was still off. Also the toilet seat was loose.
