Noisy in rooms at the front. Room 112 could do with a new floor or the old floor boards screwed down to stop the creaking

Location ideal for our purposes.
Hotel needs a larger car park. Noise from Wedding party using the hotel.

My room was facing the main road, which was quite noisy, even with the secondary double glazing.

Staff very pleasant and always helpful. Excellent Food and good value for money in the restaurant.
Small Room due to it been an old building. A lot of noise due to people moving around (creaking floorboards)

The staff provided an excellent and friendly service, we dined at the hotel and found an excellent menu which was matched by the quality of the food provioded.

I have stayed in travel lodges at much less the price and had a cleaner experience. I would not recommend this hotel at the current prices for the current standard but should the above be rectified the hotel offers a very calm, pleasant environment, both the bar and grounds that the room standards should be maintained to compliment this." The location was superb, the grounds were stunning and would be well worth visiting for this alone in the summer.
The shower curtains were disgusting and stained - shower curtains are not an expensive item and could well afford to have replaced them. Orange limescale was clearly evident on the white tiles in the bathroom - again, no great effort to have removed this since thorough regular cleaning would have prevented the build-up to this extent. Thick dust on the ornate bed.

first room we were put into did'nt have a working toilet.The second room was smaller and the decor looked tired

the last minute booking was so cheap that i expected a tatty hotel , but it was very well kept and up to date , i would highly reccomend it to anyone and everyone

Really easy to book online, room was small but comfortable and clean and just what we needed.
Room rather noisy but then it was on promotional offer! Couldn't find a hairdryer? Also I ordered poached eggs for breakfast and they arrived overcooked on unbuttered toast which made for a very dry breakfast!

Staff very welcoming and helpful also helpful on the phone before our arrival. We we doing a private coach tour that began and ended at your hotel and I queried if we could leave our car on your car park all day although we would have checked out. Again I made sure when we booked in. I was assured that it would be ok. The only meal we had was breakfast and it was first class.
only slight problem was the matress on the bed was a little lumpy and soft. Might have been a problem if our stay had have been longer.

Very overpriced for what is basically a pub with rooms. "Discount" internet rates HIGHER than walk-up rack rate. Very noisy kitchen exhaust right outside some rooms. Shower only, not bath.

Good location in Banbury. Breakfasts were lovely. Good choice and quality. Staff were friendly and very efficient.Really enjoyed staying in an older hotel rather than a bland chain style. There was even towel art on the bed when we arrived - nice touch. Prices in the bar were reasonable. Sunday lunch was very good.
Small point - There was no mirror in the bedroom - only in the bathroom. However, did not detract from our stay.

Exceptionally large well equipped room.Wonderful choice of food at breakfast and friendly efficient staff.
There was no residents bar open when we returned from our evening out.

No one was around to checkout at 8.45am and the phone No that had been displayed on the desk the night before had gone so just had to leave the key and go. Apart from that everthing was fine.

Our room was obviously part of the original building and was a little quirky with uneven floors, bathroom door had to be lifted slightly because the frame was crooked presumable due to the age of the building. The room was clean and well aired, bedlinen and towels were clean and plentiful.
