Nice period property, good breakfast.
When i booked this through your system it said breakfast was included, yet i was charged an extra £13.98 for breakfast

very clean, staff excellent
did not realise hotel was not open all day, you had to have a key to let yourself in. Had to find other establishments for food during day & evening poor parking facilities, only 5 spaces,, had to leave car keys if you were last one in outer parking space.

The hotel a staff were good in every way.
After our stay, we were informed by some friends in Tewkesbury that the hotel was on the hotel inspectors programme, and got a very bad report. It does not sound like the place we stayed, we could only give a very good report, very good in every way.

Overall standard of accomodation was excellent
The kitchen was understaffed to serve breakfast, we ended up being late for our event as our breakfast was delayed by 40 minutes, even though the hotel operates a pre-selection form for time and breakfast order.

In the heart of the town, very near the Abbey, shops, pubs and restaurants. Nice friendly atmosphere. Good quality breakfast.

the spacious bedroom with comfortable beds and nice cotton sheets and ample sitting arrangements.The off street parking in this old part of the town is a bonus. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and the fruit salad fresh,varied and generous.The location is perfect for the Abbey.
The bathroom had no blind/curtains and felt cold despite the central heating.Some of the decor and fittings (lights etc..) were outdated.The furniture are so ordinary for such a nice house.

The main issue is parking. However I do appreciate the problem of being in an area where parking is at a premium, but everyone was helpful in offering an alternative." (99057073)
The size of the room was very good and beds were comfortable.
Bathroom tended to be slightly small. Being woken at 1am by the outside/inside bell being rung by guests.

Staff was helpful with local information. Good breakfast with a good menu choice - a very good idea to have pre-ordering of breakfast avoiding wastage of food but allowing for a fairly wide choice of menu.
