An extremely comfortable large double bed in the room overlooking the sea which we had booked. An excelent meal that night.
Breakfast, however, was a limited choice although well cooked.

The hotel is clean and very good value for money. The staff are polite and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent, plenty of hot tea / coffee, cereals, fruit juices and a good quality cooked breakfast, all served with a smile!I have stayed here twice in the past few months and the two rooms were very comfortable, clean and unfussy. The bed was very comfortable and there was a plentiful supply of tea, coffee etc. There was a good supply of hot water for showers, plenty of towels, and everything worked that should have worked! The bar serves a very good pint of Old Speckled Hen!

After we addressed this and provided evidence that we had booked a sea-view room, we were moved to the correct room, which was better. The location of the hotel, if you can get a sea-view room, is spot on. You have fantastic views with sunrise and sunset on the water. The food was ok, the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean. Overall, we thought the hotel was very overpriced." (107896478)

Hotel right on the sea, which was lovely. Staff were all very nice & helpful. Excellent fresh fish in the restaurant - beautifully cooked.
I did not get the room I had booked, this may have been because they allowed my dog to stay with us. Fair enough, but I did not therefore expect to be charged the full rate for the best room. Our room was poky so I deducted 10% from the bill.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner and Breakfast was nice, reasonably priced and there was plenty of it.
On info when booking it said Hotel had been refurbished - couldn't see that on our visit - particularly the public rooms and staircase up to the rooms. Our room was large and sunny with a sea view and the bedding was excellent but we felt parts of the Hotel were somewhat 'tired'.

Staff / owner was very friendly and courteous. The quality and choice of food in the restaraunt was wonderful and attached bar / pub very friendly. The room was very cosy and cleaned daily. The overall experience was a very pleasurable one. I would not hesitate to return or recomend this hotel to friends.
Unfortunately there was a mistake in the booking which necessitated our sea view room being exchanged for an inside room. In all fairness, I did book one night by internet and then phoned to extend our stay by one night. The owner was very apologetic and as busy as the hotel was did find us our accomodation for the days required.

This room was booked and confirmed on line. I received a phone call the next day from the hotel to say that it was not available and was offered 2 single rooms which was totally unacceptable. What is the point of having an on-line booking system if the owners can change it at will???? I suspect that this had something to do with it being Goodwood weekend and me only booking 1 night. Needless to say I won't be using this system or hotel again!!!!

Navigator Hotel, Bognor Regis commentaires"The staff were friendly but there was no iron or ironing board, no local town maps and the room was quite frankly unwelcoming. I think there was nobody else in the hotel when I stayed (the other rooms were left with the doors slightly open) and I thought it would've harmed nobody to have given me a bigger room. It's also a 20 minute plus walk to the town centre and is practically in Aldgate not Bognor. I should've paid the extra £13 and stayed at the Royal Norfolk Hotel instead, which is slightly nearer. I would also recommend that you ring the hotel to confirm your booking. When I arrived they had no record of my reservation for the day and it was eventually found that I had been booked in for the following saturday. This has happened a few times before when it was fully booked. I was lucky that they were empty. The staff were friendly though and my experience is not a criticism of them - i guess i've been to a few professionally run hotels." (97332403)
It was situated very close to the beach. The weather wasn't very nice on the day i stayed but i can imagine on a warm day it would be quite a nice seaview.
The single room was very small, with a small single bed. Bathroom had barely room for the toilet and shower. Sink was in the main room.

The room was excellent.
Having a member of staff knocking on the door at 10.20 to ask us to vacate the room. We knew the check out time, we were getting ready to go this was unnecessary and inhospitible. Also, the breakfast of tomatoes, bacon, eggs and toast was too basic. Beans and mushroom would not have gone amiss. Bit more effort on this please.
