Breakfast was excellent
Because of functions at the weekend, the room was far too noisy. Air con was inadequate in a room that had no windows that opened, uncovered window in celing meant that room was too light too early.

We have stayed in this hotel last year also, park and beach very near very good food, It is a bit quiet but very relaxing. Pity about the weather.

Made to feel welcome, we were upgraded at no extra charge, food was good,
Fan in bathroom very noisy, no toilet rolls holder and toilet seat crooked. Would have expected freeview or sky on television.

The staff were helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome.
Unfortunately, there was a problem with the plumbing not long after we arrived and we were unable to use bath or shower, due to the water being cold, for at least a couple of hours. We had planned to have dinner by the time it was uable.

Interior design and decor. excellent. Staff friendly. Clean.
Shower not powerful.Could do with an arm chair room not huge for star rating. Would have liked mote tourist info.leaflets in foyer.We hired bikes from pembury park and cycled up coastline[E.]This was not well advertised.Beautiful scenary.

Ashburnham Hotel, Burry Port commentaires"I would have like to have known that the room we booked (overlooking the golf course and as described in the booking) was not available and we were given a substitute room that was not as well appointed. However, this was offset by a fair reduction in the rate and the room we were given was well appointed, clean and tidy. Staff were happy and helpful as usual. Overall it was a pleasurable stay. Breakfast is excellent as were bar meals in the evening." (97313928)

It was a very nice location - unfortunately, I was not in the area long enough to explore and enjoy it
The extractor fan in the bathroon of Room 6 was very loud... almost as though an airplane was taking off!

my wife and I could not fault this hotel,we enjoyed our stay this year just as much as we did last year.hopefully we will retun again next year,as we like the area and would not stay anywhere else.the food,accomodation and the surroundings cannot be bettered. as much as we did last year.Hopefully we will return again next

The best rooms do suffer from being close to the function rooms which as the hotel warns are used for some noisy functions on Friday and Saturday nights so if you are looking to get to sleep before midnight take earplugs! The accommodation was good - clean and functional.
The bar area doubled as a restaurant and was not conducive to relaxation. Breakfast finished at 9 am - too early for holiday makers!!

Altogether we had a most enjoyable stay, which could not be faulted. Before booking we did not really know what standard of hotel to expect, but any doubts we might have had in advance were immediately dispelled once we arrived - the standard was certainly of the highest." Food is available all day. The directions should say the hotel is past Llanelli , as the brief guide indicates it is close to the M4 , eg how many miles." (3305384949)
Very friendly and flexible staff. The bar food is good quality , and good value for money.
Not suitable for disabled stay , as there only stairs to bedroom which are steep.
