The hotel is within walking distance of the main street of Liskeard and had free parking and free Wifi, which was nice. The owners were friendly but disappeared after we arrived so we had to track them down to get the Wifi password. The room was large but the bathroom had no hot water in the morning (due to a blown fuse, apparently) which wasn't noticed for hours so we weren't able to take showers. The owners, however, did reduce the price of our room. Breakfast was okay.
The rooms are a bit tattered and every mirrored attachment in the bathroom (towel rack, soap holder, etc) was cracked. A fuse apparently blew in the middle of the night so the hot water heater for all the rooms went off and there was no hot water in the morning. The kitchen must be on a different fuse since no one noticed this until guests reported the problem and by then it was too late to get a morning shower.

It is quiet place near the town area and covenient to drive to any areas. Hotel is small and friendly to stay.
There were no hot water supply at the bath tab. There is shower heated but not strong enough to pour the bath tab.

Hotel in a fantastic town location and easy to find with good private parking. The bedroom was actually a very nice spacious room, all the bedrooms looked a generous size.
Room very cold, not helped by manager turning off the heating. No radiator in bathroom for heating or to dry towels. Hot water intermittent.

Very comfortable and clean hotel with friendly staff. It is within walking distance of Liskeard town centre and has its own parking.
The wi-fi signal wasn't strong enough to work in the bedroom, however you can use it in the public lounge.

Were made to feel incredibly welcome by Tracy and Jeremy on arrival and during our stay and all our needs were catered for. We were advised on local attractions and given very precise directions on local coastal walks and what trains/buses to get if it got too late. On the Sunday morning we got up late and all of the breakfast equipment had been cleaned away, when I asked if we could possibly have some cereal and maybe toast, Jeremy went massively beyond the call of duty and produced a full English breakfast for us both with tea, plenty of toast and fruit juice. He made us feel very comfortable and insisted that he'd rustle up a good breakfast. The building is very quaint and styled beautifully. The room we had (Double with an extra single bed) was very comfortable. It was spacious and the bath was a great size, you could probably get two adults in if you were in a rush to go somewhere! Also had a great shower. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Tony's directions (including pub stops) were incredibly accurate and he always had time for a friendly chat. Thank you.

excellent breakfast,food in thai restaurant good,friendly,helpful,central for our visits to friends and sightseeing of the cornwall places of interest.
lack of managment & staff during our stay if any problems arose which they did , we had to wait until breakfast to report the faults to the cook/waiter who inturn had to pass it on to managment

The kitchen has problems coping with numbers at breakfaet - and the toaster was very inefficient.

Nice room, value for money and a great couple who were very hospitable and made you feel very welcome, which is very important for a guest who is on their own.

Rooms are well decorated, clean and the furniture's in good condition. Small wall mounted TV. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Lack of proper shower facilities - a shower curtain and wall fixed shower head would have been much more desirable than a hand held shower at one end of the bath.

adequate facilites, friendly environment, good breakfast.
