  a toilet in the bedroom.surely thats against the law. out of date milk in the room. pokey little room for breakfast.

  "The only thing I would like to have known before booking is the openplan bathroom.The shower and sink in the room wa no problem, but there are certain things you need to have a little privacy, especially where the toilet is concerned." (97663106)

  "Arriving at the Hotel, we were shown to our room, which was lovely. Light and very clean! The shower was lovely and bed very comfortable. We were travelling with our four month daughter, and we were all made to feel very welcome. We were given the use of a Cot and a High Chair, which was wonderful. We ate at the Hotel in the evenings twice, and the menu was great. Very good value for money. My Fillet steak was perfect. The continental Breakfast was also lovely, with Kippers, Meats and Smoked Salmon as well as many other delights. All the staff and Kate were lovely, made us feel very welcome and went out of thier ways to make us comfortable, and to make our stay more enjoyble. Thank you! We will be back!!!" (97600288)

  "The hotel was booked at short notice due to having to cancel another hotel in a different seaside town. We were not disappointed. The hotel was bright and welcoming. The standard of cleanliness was very high.Staff were helpful and friendly. Well placed for the pleasure beach, about 5 minutes walk. Overall excellent value for money." (97332698)

  "The visit was what I was looking for, rest and relaxation. The room was up-graded as it was very quiet (floods), I had a swedish massage which was really good and would visit again." (97428466)

  Kate is wonderful host and the room was excellent.

  The bar was open but no staff there.

  kate and her staff were really welcoming and were amazing throughout our stay. nothing was too much to ask for. i really wish id have booked to stay longer.

  "A very relaxed and friendly hotel and would definately book there again." (97195708)

  The layout and decor of the Hotel was very good. Very comfy bed. Only continental breakfast but lots of choice and filled us up for the day. The owner and her staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

  "Hotel is great. We have stayed there previously and will be returning again. Level of service is brilliant and every need acommodated for. Staff are really nice, friendly & welcoming, food is great. Hotel and rooms are really clean and fresh with a homely feeling, the beds just melt around youlike cotton wool. Had the best sleep eve :o) Really good hotel, massages were great, Indian Head Massages are the bomb(can't wait for my next one! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to get away from it all. Even though it is right next to Blackpool Pleasure beach you do forget you are there." (99551521)

  "From walking into the hotel, the feeling of stress being lifted from you is wonderful. The welcome is very warm and friendly. Everyone gave excellent service and nothing is too much trouble. During your stay you meet different kinds of people, who become friends and share the same views if you like peace and quiet away from the hussle and bustle of the town. This is the only hotel I would stay at in Blackpool as it is home from home. I have never met such a wonder person as the owner of the hotel who will ensure you are happy with what is on offer."   The accommodation is welcoming and peaceful,luxurious in every way in the quality of furniture, beds. There certainly has been no expense spared on this.

  "had a lovely wknd in Blackpool, location of hotel was ideal,...close to pleasure beach but far away enough from any noise. room was very cosy with tv & dvd and tea/coffee facilities. Staff were very friendly, relaxed and halpfull." (99867977)

  "You are at the south end of the front, on a crescent just off the seafront so the road outside is quiet. It is convenient for the airport and the trams that will take you to the rest of the resort. Our room had an interesting layout - it was very clean with hot drink making equipment, lots of towels, an iron etc. They served an excellent breakfast." (99097225)

  "The Feng Shui hotel was a haven of tranquility and good taste in what is now a rather run down and tacky resort. We all agreed that if we hadn't been at the Feng Shui we would not have enjoyed our weekend break (Our husbands were there to watch Hull City football team play Preston while we shopped and tried out treatments at the hotel). This hotel provides good value for money and has a very attentive and knowledgeable host. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to other people." (3305428411)

  totally no-smoking hotel, therapists available during the day, beautiful dining/bar area, good food, quiet location

  didn't really dislike anything, but an area for improvement is the seating arrangements for breakfast which were rather cramped. Food however, was very good and so was the service.

  "The owners were friendly and helpful. I had to leave extremely early and they were happy for us to help ourselves to breakfast before we left. The breakfast was great (they do have cereal or eggs as well as salmon and criossants). The bathroom/ensuite was a little too open-plan but there is a shared bathroom at the end of the coridoor. The hotel was a peaceful haven in a fun and lively destination." (3305309327)

  quieter location but an easy walk to the pleasure beach and a tram stop opposite which runs to the tower regularly.

  "This is a very good small hotel with truly friendly staff.It is sited at the quieter end of the Blackpool prom. and I enjoyed a most peaceful visit.Car parking is a problem but this should improve when Feng Shui developes its own facility.I shall return quite soon." (3305277796)

  "The rooms were clean and tidy, the staff were very helpful & friendly and the food was excellent. The hotel was well placed, being on the outskirts of Blackpool, away from the main hustle & bustle of the area. I would definitely use this hotel again & have recommended it to friends."   Small hotel beautifully clean and comfortable with excellent ,friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble. Upgraded to a larger room which was much appreciated.

  Dining room small and breakfast a little disappointing. It would have been more appetising to have hot croissants and hot pancakes rather than stone cold.

  "i would have like to of known that blackpool really is not what people say it is.. me personally wont be going back there in a hurry its full other holiday makers that make you feel uncomfortable shouting swearing drunk in the street when there are kids about.." (3304504843)

  it was nice and plesent and welcoming just like sleeping in your own home

  nothing really just that the room was a bit on the small side with no bath and a shower that only trickled out but overall it was nice

  "Everyone was very welcoming and the hotel was lovely. However the bathroom facilities would put me off returning or reccomending the hotel to friends." (99641246)

  The room was very clean and the was lovely

  the en suite toilet facility was actualy in the bedroom with no seperate door. i wasnt comfortable with the idea of showering or using the bathroom in front of my boyfriend. A sepearate tolilet was located at the end of the hall but that wasnt convienient during the night.
