  "Frustrating. We expected tea and coffee making facilities in our room, as we had seen advertised and there were none. Information about using the phones was out of date. There was no internet access in our room and the television signal was so week we could not access information about the hotel. The hand dryer in the reception toilets did not work proprly and when reported and fixed still was not adequate." (108194846)

  The young lady in the bar and the blond receptionist were lovely.

  One receptionist was officious and abrupt. There was not enough information and the wrong information about the hotel. We had to report various things not working properly.

  "Good location for visiting the wine festival." (107295365)

  One of our friends had a lovely room, upstairs in the main part of the building, but it looked like not all of the rooms have been fully renovated yet. Our bathroom had a lovely shower and bath, which was powerul and easy to use.

  Our room's decor was quite old with very narrow round pillows. It was quite expensive for what you got and other friends payed the same for a much nicer room. The rooms need to be better graded.

  "Overnight stop on a leisure trip. The town of Beaune is definitely worth a visit, great restaurants, boutique shops and of course wine. Try driving down the D 974 south through the vineyards and then following the Canal du Centre - a wonderful leasurly drive, great views and relaxing time. Would come to Beaune again but try a different hotel" (107871030)

  Reservation process worked well. Garage availability. Courteous receptionists

  Small rooms with air conditioning switched off centrally so far too hot. Was able to open windows to help cool it down. Lights in hallways on auto switches that shut off in 5 seconds leaving you in the dark!!

  "The hotel was in a very good position and the staff advised us on places to eat for our evening meal and the 2 they recommeded were excellent." (107271460)

  The hotel was good and the staff friendly but very busy.

  The towels in the bathroom were tired and grey in colour. The breakfast was good but an extremely busy self-service type.There were 2 coach tours at the same time as usstaying at the hotel.

  Friendly and accommodating staff. Good quality facilities, particularly in the bathroom. All clean and relatively new furniture.

  "Adequate. We had a stopover at the start of our holiday in another hotel in Beaune and we preferred that to the Henry II and would stay there again." (97760949)

  Hotel close to the autoroute and the town centre, secure car park, daytime staff spoke good English. Bed comfortable.

  Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Large coachload of visitors arrived, making it difficult to reach the exit and it was unpleasant.

  "In general we were satisfied with our stay. We were very tired after a very long day and needed a good comfortable room. It provided a very suitable stopping of point for an overnight stay. Our only dislikes were minor and are stated above. Our overall impression of the hotel was good." (97646311)

  Well situated in Beaune, easy to find, within easy walking distance of the very pleasant town centre and restaurants.

  Although our room was quite adequate for our overnight stay, it was at road level and we could not open our window. Also we would have liked duvets instead of blankets, but this is obviously a personal preference.

  "Overall it was a good stopping-over hotel for two single overnight stays. I should have liked to have known that no food is served apart from breakfast, and to have had a list of places to dine. However, the staff were very helpful in all respects, and are commendable." (99730050)

  It was comfortable, and had all the facilities we needed. The beds were very good and personal facilities more than adequate. Breakfast was also most acceptable.

  The narrow parking bays in the covered garage.

  Close to city centre and save parking in the garage.

  Very poor breakfast. This was only 8.50 euro's pp but I'd rather pay a bit more for a more up to date european breakfast.
