  "Did not enjoy my stay at Bridge House. If I had booked for more than two days, I would have gone elsewhere after the first night." (108349036)

  Room was generally very tatty and in need of a facelift. Tea/coffee facilities not available in rooms. Difficult to get to sleep due to noise from street going on until 3 a.m. Staff said it was not possible to charge a UK card in Euros, which is not true. I was billed in £ sterling against my wishes.

  We did not enjoy our stay here at all

  No lifts, narrow stairways, smoke alarms but no fire escapes. Window held open by a coat hanger.

  perfect location, staff friendly and helpfull and rooms and bathrooms cleaned properly.

  hotel need to have a proper refresh-walls are dirty, carpets full of stains, old uncomfortable beds, non adequate furniture if we can call this like a furniture, one star that's max for this hotel.

  "Hotel con solo posibilidad de desayuno deberia tener neverita en el dormitorio. Mucha humedad y moho en el cuarto de bano. No volveriamos porque somos fumadores y tuvimos que bajar y salir a la calle (y por lo tanto a la lluvia!!!)cada vez que queriamos fumar." (107182740)

  Buen acceso al hotel (taxi, bus, y andando) Era exactamente la zona que queria. Aun siendo el centro de la zona de copas, no nos ha molestado demasiado el ruido de la calle.

  Es importante que se explique bien en la pagina web para realizar la reserva que no se esta PAGANDO la estancia, sino AUTORIZANDO al hotel de asegurar el pago en caso de cancelacion (o sea solo como metodo de evitar que la gente no reserve para luego no aparecer). Nuestro cuarto de bano (al no tener ventilacion ni ventana) tenia las paredes y el techo alrededor de la ducho llenos de moho por la humedad. Cada vez que saliamos a la calle dejabamos la llave en la recepcion. Aun asi, estando en la habitacion, intentaron entrar sin esperar a que tuvieramos oportunidad de decir que no podian pasar.

  "overcharged for this hotel in total, would never recommend it to anyone... if the health inspectors visit this place it would be shut down.... But the staff are helpful and freindly, after u spent the whole day getting to dublin and ur tired, arguing and complaining is the last thing you want to do." (97517785)

  the hotel needs repair and a good clean, the tv had 1 channel that worked, shower and bathroom had broen tiles, bedroom was really dirty and had really dirty sheets and pillow cases, it also looked like it has never been repair and broken items never replace. the carpet had dorty and dust in all the edging and corners

  "The reception was manned by foreign staff, who appeared unconfident with european language. Having spent most of my life in Ireland, the thing that I missed the most, was the Irish hospitality that I am used to receiving" (97006259)

  The accommodation is central to all amemities, and is well located for tourists

  Beds and mattresses we in less than adaquate condition, and were generally very uncomfortable

  "The hotel was suffice and value for money. If the noise problem was sorted out (and it really was loud - I could have been in the street!) I would rate it mmoderately. Also if coffee and tea making facilities were provided in the rooms that would have been great. Also the shower was broken. I would not stay here again unless I could be assured that I wasn't having a street elevational room!" (99586822)

  Central location staff friendly and helpful.

  whilst the hotel is situated in Temple Bar and opposite a pub the noise was horrendous from outside! Whilst obviously you can't do anything about that maybe some investment into sound proof glazing and inner sound insulation panels would improve the noise problem. a relatively low investment which would make me feel inclined to stop again.

  The room was nothing like the pictures - outdated. No air. Continental Breakfast was meagre. The intercom wasn't working so you had to bang on the door and the reception was on the first floor so it took a while to get in.

  It's in a very noisy area so double glazed windows may help reduce the noise.

  Location & price, clean rooms.

  Italian restaurant downstairs gave bad smell at evenings (windows are not tight), also some restaurant workers were having loud discussions under my window. TV was not working. No hot water at shower. The bed is bad to sleep (lumpy). The breakfast should be better (now they had only croissant etc.)

  "There are quite a lot of stairs up to the top rooms but we did know about this before hand the room was clean and serviced daily and the staff were very nice. Overall it was value for money.It is an older building and it leaked in our room because of a broken window but not anything to cause discomfort." (2021447)
