In the heart of the Scottish Borders, next to historic Dryburgh Abbey, this magnificent country house dates back to the mid-19th century. Today, the Dryburgh Abbey Hotel houses spacious, individually decorated en suite rooms, all with their own unique charm. All of the comfortable rooms have TVs, complimentary beverage trays and luxurious toiletries and bathroom products from Gilchrist and Soames. Many rooms have magnificent views of the River Tweed and the hotel gardens.

The impressive leisure and relaxation facilities include a sauna and an indoor heated pool, kept at a constant 87 degrees. For keen anglers, the hotel boasts trout-fishing rights and direct access to the River Tweed.

Situated on the first floor of the hotel, the Tweed Restaurant has large bay windows, hugely impressive high ceilings, beautiful chandeliers and superb river views. The restaurant offers a wide and varied menu featuring some of the very best Scottish cuisine, made using only the finest, freshest seasonal ingredients available locally, with organic produce used wherever possible. The restaurant maintains a varied wine cellar containing more than 100 international wines. Each wine is personally handpicked and updated to ensure they complement the current cuisine. In November 2008, the Dryburgh Abbey Hotel opened the Abbey Bar' which offers range of drinks as well as an all day-dining experience, 7 days a week. On the ground floor of this historic country house hotel, guests can relax in the comfortable fireside lounges and the newly refurbished bar lounge for morning coffee, bar snacks and afternoon teas. All of the public rooms on the ground floor have direct access to the hotel's grounds.
