This is a licensed hotel situated in a quiet location only a few minutes from the bus/coach and railway station and a 5-minute walk from the beach. Skegness boasts a fine stretch of golden sandy beach, The Natureland Marine sanctuary and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. Worth a visit is the Embassy Theatre, with many well-known shows and stars appearing throughout the season. There is entertainment for all the family with Bottons Pleasure Beach, boating lakes, 10-pin bowling, crazy golf, go-karting as well as the famous Skegness illuminations. For sports fans, there are two 18-hole golf courses, bowling greens, snooker halls and stock car racing. Skegness also has great swimming facilities (indoors and out) in the newly refurbished Compass Gardens Complex. Fantasy Island Theme Park at Ingoldmells is only 10 minutes away by car.

By Car: From Boston (A52): - Enter the one way system when approaching Skegness town centre. - Keep on A52 (passing Taylors Garage on right) and follow signs for Mablethorpe (A52). - Take the 2nd main turning right after rejoining the 2-way road into Scarbrough Avenue. - Continue straight over the roundabout (St Matthews Church) to Skegness Pier then turn right. - Continue straight over the clock tower roundabout. - Take the 1st right turn and proceed straight over the staggered junction into Sandbeck Avenue. The Fountaindale Hotel is on the right-hand side after several hundred yards. From Lincoln (A158): - Proceed straight over traffic lights shortly after the football ground. - Continue to North Parade (promenade) and turn right. - Continue straight over the clock tower roundabout and continue as above.
