A very good family run hotel in a convenient location.
Room was on 2nd floor up a very steep and narrow staircase which my wife found difficult. We were not informed in advance that there was no lift and the stairs were steep.

Very friendly staff which made us feel very welcome and a great location only a few minutes walk to the historic center.
We stayed in a room facing the street, which got a little noisy sometimes at night. Would request a room facing the courtyard on any future visits.

Staff welcoming,friendly and helpful, gave us useful information, booked taxis etc. My friend and I, who are no longer young and did not come by car, were glad to find several good restaurants within a short distance for an evening meal." Excellent breakfast served in my room very punctually. Room and bathroom always very clean.
There was no way I could open a window in my bedroom.

Hotel Belle Epoque, Beaune recensioni"Excellent stop over. We booked the apartment so that we could keep the children in separate bedrooms and relax in the lounge without waking them up. Definately worth the extra money." (97860001)
Off street secure parking and close to motorway. On both occasions we stayed the receptionist came out and met us before we had even parked the car and remembered us from our previous stay 2 weeks before.
It's a little out the way with regard restaurants. Only breakfast is served at the hotel - which would be cheaper from a cafe/boulongerie.

Hotel Belle Epoque, Beaune recensioni"The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting the attractions of Beaune and restaurants on foot. There is secure parking and good overnight security. The hotel is easy to find by following local signposts. It has a cosy little bar but we were the only people we saw using it! Breakfast was very pleasant with a standard Continental menu or cooked breakfast at an additional cost." (99970244)
Our room was very comfortable and had an excellent ambience from the beams and timbered ceiling. The bathroom was spotless and well appointed.

Hotel Belle Epoque, Beaune recensioni"I would like to have known whether or not breakfast was a part of the room charge. The location was fabulous, we could walk anywhere. Staff was very helpful and friendly and our room was private and quiet and very unique in decoration with the large beams in the ceiling. We loved it and will stay there again in the future." beautiful room, very quaint and true to the area architecture. ROoms were quiet, spacious and the bathrooms were very classy for a hotel in this pricerange. Very exceptional.
The only misunderstanding we felt was the simple breakfast not being included in the room price. Had we known we were paying each morning, we'd have gone to several nice pastriy shops nearby. Not a big deal, but a misunderstanding on our part.

The room was traditional and although quite small was adequate for an overnight stay. The staff were excellent, friendly and very well informed about best local restaurants and places to buy wine, it is Burgundy after all. Will definitely stay there again." (99819177)
