This hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the Hammersmith Apollo and ideal for anyone attending a concert there.

Staff were polite and efficient. WiFi connection was good.
Room looked like it was being renovated. Handle missing from inside of bathroom door. Toilet sometimes kept filling until flushed a second time. Headboard was on floor, instead of on wall. Noise from other guests was excessive and included noise at 2 o`clock in the morning.

Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and the staff were friendly. Good breakfast ... fresh orange juice, yoghurt, cereal, eggs, beans, toast and jam, tea or coffee.
Room was cold. Radiator didn't come on in the evening or the following morning. Had to wait for breakfast as the breakfast room was full.

rapport qualité/prix; bonnes prestations personnel sympatique propreté de la chambre bon petit déjeuner. quand on connait le prix des hotels sur londres et les prestations proposées le Golden Strand est un très bon hotel bien placé pour son prix c'est une tès bonne affaire pour Londres. station de bus à 30 mètres et métro à 10 minutes de marche nous vous le recommandons

Polite and helpful staff. Clean room. Everything worked.
A little noisy. Better to book a room at the back of the building. No lamp near the bed for reading. Large kettle worked well but didn't fit under the faucet in the rather small sink.

We were put into the hotel next door under the pretext that it was part of the same chain which it clearly wasn't. We had booked a double room but were given a room with 2 twin beds pushed together. The room was very basic, the shower didn't work.

Excellent staff. Clean & tidy.
When checking into the hotel I had booked I was then told I had to go to another hotel in the rain! There is nothing on the description to say they have other hotels that you may be staying in. Room was too small for a double.

The room was extremely clean and the staff friendly. A good, value for money hotel close to the venue we were attending for a rock concert. Extremely accessible from the city centre.
A little underequipped. We were only given one towel between the two of us and complementary shower gel, shampoo and a hairdryer were a notable absence, as was a shaver socket in the bathroom.

Did not stay in actual hotel, another hotel owned by same people (though only a few yards away); top floor (of 4) with no lift; cracked teacup; waste bin lid broken; hair-dryer broken (though it's no use to me anyway)

Friendly and helpful staff that would go out of way to help
Although staff willing to help a lot of the held should not have been needed in the first place! Room was small and cramped, with none of the amenities i.e. hair dryer listed on the website. No breakfast even though advertised Building work taking place - massive banging noises at 7.30am.
