  Clean, peaceful and very adequate accommodation with very friendly staff and service

  No private safe/secure box in room

  "The hotel is looking a little aged, could do with a new lick of paint, however, it is a friendly place to be. Nice bar staff and receptionists. The breakfast waiting staff were extremely helpful even though the dining room was packed. Our room overlooked a building site or the new part of the hotel I would guess. So that was a little bit disapointing, as everyone likes a nice view. The hotel is on the main road into Dublin City Centre, and about 20 minutes from the local extremely well served bus stop. The staff told us where to catch the bus from, but failed to tell us that the buses only accept coins only... Which proved a little embarrassing at the time! Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay."   Easy to find, not far from the City Centre, nice check-out staff.

  The bumped up prices because of a local event. The weekend was expensive enough, would have been nice to pay normal prices.

  "The staff were at best discourteous and some down right rude. When we settled the bill we were not asked if we had a nice stay, or given a thank you when payment was made. The room we had number 352 was cramped and a large single rather than a double. We paid 300.00 euro for the room which we knew in advance (4 times there going rate due to a concert in town) we got a 30 euro room and 3 euro service" (3304406975)

  The breakfast and the resaurant staff for breakfast were excellant. Unfortunatly I have given them a low mark because of the rest of the staff we encountered.
