close to the station
breakfast was terrible. croissant were hard like stone. no staff could speak any proper english.and were no able to direct us towards the city centre.

Friendly check in, nice large airy room
Bathroom could have been cleaner especially toilet brush. Check-out was rather chaotic. Decor was rather shabby.

I booked the hotel mainly because it was near the station and I was going to meet a friend there the next day. I arrived late and was greeted and shown to my room, which was clean and comfortable. Our rooms could not have been further from each other. The breakfast consisted of tinned mushrooms, tomatoes and out of date yogurt. Generally shoddy conversion of previously charming terrace of Victorian houses.

Location, close to railway station. Price was pretty reasonable. Room was clean and everything more or less worked. It was peaceful. Booking and website directions were excellent.
I had to go into the kitchen to find the staff to get my breakfast, there was no one around outside. Only one window opened and it was pretty hot. The flex on the kettle was far too short and awkward to use. There seemed to be a problem with paying by credit card, so I had to use cash.

Person on reception friendly and pleasant, bed clean and comfortable, plenty of hot water, good towels.
Access to room awful - up and down difficult stairs, would have been impossible with large bag. Noisy, very difficult to sleep. Shower, basin , toilet fitted into the tiniest area possible.

Coffee at breakfast wasn't very good, both days, first at 8:30 and the next morning at 7:00.

There was hair on the bathroom floor and the rooms of our friends was rather a broom closet than a hotel room. And therefore the money they asked for was way to much.

1.water pot tray (extraudinarily dirty) 2.was noisy till 4 o'clock (probably other guest went out and got drunk) 3.I felt the shape of springs of the bed. Some pad might be neccessary.

A clean, comfortable, quiet hotel close to the railway station; staff generally helpful.
The curtains were delapidated and let in a lot of light from the street outside. Shower was difficult to work out and also to moderate the temperature and volume of water. Staff rushed breakfast for no apparent reason, within the times set. Distance from town centre was significant.
