Requested room as near as possible to reception(walking difficulties). Was allocated room at far end of hotel was told "everyboody wants rooms near reception" Hotel was not particularly full.

Reception desk staff excellent, were aware of problems and tried to help.
Shower either froze or scalded, dangerous. Internet didn't work. Mattress base was torn and dirty, room not cleaned for the period of our second stay.

Easy to park, conveniently situated hotel. Reasonably good room. Good breakfast.
Shower leaked badly onto floor. Bedside light didn't work but had been replaced temporarily with side light.

Staff are always friendly and I was given the room i'd stayed in previously (room 5) which was a nice touch. Great view of the grounds!

Room ready before check in- important because we had to leave for wedding.
No camp bed in room on arrival, told reception who confirmed that it would be there on our return, but it wasn't. Had to get it sorted at about 1am - not ideal! Breakfast too expensive so didn't bother.

Location excellent for a party we attended down the road.
It is time to replace the mattresses in the hotel rooms. We discovered that our complaint of feeling every spring, and having a dip in the middle was consistent with the other ten couples we knew staying at the hotel. Breakfast very expensive (so much so that at least four of us went to Sainsburys over the road). Shower/bath mixer very stiff and difficult to swap from one to the other.

When arrived could not enter room with keycard had to return to reception 3 times before a staff member actually came to room door, once we did gain entry room was dirty and as the last guest had left it. We had to return to reception and an alternative room was found.

Helpfull chamber maids.
Booked and recieved a letter later to inform me that no food would be available. Who group booked based on my booking and unacceptable that in such a hotel that we had to ask for the bar to be opened. Discount should have been given on price booked at of £55 pn.

The beds were extremely comfortable and warm! The staff were all very friendly. Overall we were very impressed.

Check in fast, free wireless internet working this trip. Breakfast is good. On the whole the staff are friendly.
Laundry is not delivered back on the same day contrary to what the laundry slip says. You are supposed to tell reception that you need it back the same day. As a consequence I had clothes left there when I departed. I had someone living close who could pick them up and pay for the laundry, but others might not be so lucky. No soap in the bathroom when I arrived late at night, or the next day when I got back from work. I had to take some from the cleaners trolley!

TV was brand new Beds were clean and tidy
Bathroom was unclean - Sink was very dirty Bathroom was very old and outdated - limescale everywhere

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel restaurant was closed due to a private function. We were able to eat from the Al le Carte menu but had to dine in the conservatory which was far from ideal.

Room Clean, Service Excellent
First room was not as booked, I booked a single Studo room, was sent to a TWIN room, this was changed, however room key did not work, and I had to go back to reception to get it activated. I have a bad foot which by the end of he day was very painful, so this was not a great point.

Nice food.
Noisy, uncomfortable bed - springs broken, old fashioned shower, not enough space for a family, only 1 usable highchair for the whole hotel. Overall very poor.

The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful.
The room was badly laid out, the bed was against the wall and there was a "bar" area to make hot drinks at, that was in the way of the hanging space and the full length mirror. It would have made more sense to put the drink making things on the table. A valance sheet would have disguised the bad state of the bed base and the room was in need of redecorating.(Torn wallpaper badly stuck down and grubby walls)

Quality of breakfast and breakfast staff on duty
Regrettably the en-suite facilities were very poor and water supply dried up when taking a shower, the water was also cold, not always a resreshing experience!! The trouser press did not work, not good for a business related stay.

On this visit, I found the accommodation not to be anywhere near the standard I would expect of a Ramada business hotel. The accommodation and facilities were poor and the restaurant service was extremely slow (45 minutes waiting for our main course having not had a starter), the food was only adequate (reasonably expensive for what was provided) and the staff lacked professionalisim. Overall a very disappointing experience." (97326637)
The double room was small with one side of the bed against the wall, the tv channels ie. BBC1 BBC2 not working, bathroom towels in drawer below tv rather than the bathroom? The shower was either cold or scold!

Bar area cold and not enough to have a bar food rather than sit in restaurant.Don't expect a quiet breakfast with a shrieking chef in the kitchen calling out orders and staff that would rather walk round you than seat you.

Plenty of hot water, adequate room friendly staff.
Finding old foodstuffs in a drawer in the room ie. half a loaf, sour ham, tomatoes and margarine and bits on the floor giving us to believe the room had not been thoroughly cleaned

Very clean and comfortable.
The interior double glazing was very noisy when the wind blew and the extractor fan in the bathroom was also noisy due to the wind!
