  Pleasant room. Pleasant staff. Good parking. Good bar/lounge to relax in.

  We were very close to a disco on both Friday and Saturday nights, and although these did stop around midnight, there was a lot of noise under our window into the early hours - clearing up, or loading vehicles with equipment. Also there were only 3 coffee sachets, and 3 milk sachets per night between us. The milk sachets held very little milk, so the coffee was virtually black - please go back to the little cartons!!

  "Outstanding value for money (cheaper rate for w/e which was a bonus) and provided everything they said they would provide - unlike another local hotel we booked first (on net) only to find it was B&B without breakfast (no reduction in charge) and both net and confirmatory email said breakfast provided. Very convenient for J12 of M4, but quiet also." (107885806)

  Clean, good room facilities, outstanding staff in restaurant who were very helpful over special menu for breakfast and provided a light lunch to meet our needs rather than trad Sunday lunch.

  Could not turn tap off(forgot to tell them, rm 32).

  "My room was above the restaurant/bar but there was no noise heard from below. The room itself was somewhat worn and could do with a facelift, as could the bathroom (dripping, stiff taps and old shower needs replacing). However, it was clean, the staff were friendly & helpful, and for the price, it's a good hotel. Its location's great, just of M4, and for a short stopover I would recommend." (108036420)

  Convenient location. Staff friendly & helpful.

  Room a little worn & dated. Bathroom clean, but again was worn & in need of update. Dripping taps, shower needs replacing.

  A clean and pleasant hotel at a reasonable price

  Insufficient headroom meant that I was unable to have a shower. I am 6ft tall.

  "Overall a stay that was not at all enjoyable. The room was extremely small with the minimum standard of furnishings. The walls of the room were paper thin and you could hear absolutely everything happening in adjacent rooms. Floorboards in the corridor creaked and any activity outside the room was easily audible. It was a humid night and aircon was a necessity but it was not available.I would not stay there again and would certainly not recommend it to friends/colleagues." (99733932)

  "Room was cold radiator needed bleeding - shower head kept slipping down the pole and water temperature went hot and cold of it's own accord - evening meal - dining room was very cold and food was very average soup was forgotten so just had main course Turkey very bland and poor presentation - desert was again average - staff were heard to be swearing when I passed-by the kitchen - breakfast was ok but not worth " (3305013486)

  "I have stayed in this hotel before and had a lovely room in the new part of the hotel. My second stay unfortuatately was not as comfortable. I was put in the old part of the hotel in a noisy room with the heating duct outside my bedroom window. The wallpaper was falling off the wall and there was no bath just a tiny shower room. General facilities in the hotel are OK and the restaurant is comfortable serving good food. The service is pleasant and staff aminable." (99656358)
