  the owner was very friendly and helpful with what there was to do in the local area and where to eat in the evenings

  "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lakeside Town Farm as the atmosphere was extremely homely, but professionally managed. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will recommend to friends." (107936593)

  Our bedroom was very comfortable with every attention to detail, likewise the bathroom. Very good breakfast with excellent communication with owner. Lovely gardens. Would stay again if in the area.

  "Would thoroughly recommend this Guest House to anyone. We have stayed in big hotels that were not nearly as good or as friendly as this. A must if you are spending a week-end break or holiday in the Oxford/Cotswolds area. " (107732110)

  We found our stay at Town Farm Cottage very relaxing. The setting was very quiet and peaceful with beautiful gardens. Everything was thoughtfully provided. The staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful with good advice of places to eat and places of interest to visit. They were very friendly too. Also, the breakfasts were excellent...mmmmmm.

  It was a lovely place. A working farm with beautiful gardens and a most enjoyable pond full of ducks. Wonderful hosts and a great breakfast served in a very nice dining room. The lounge was very comfortable with helpful guidebooks and maps to help the traveller explore the lovely chiltern hills area.

  They are great as they are.

  "Fabulous location - really idyllic. Very cosy and welcoming - very nice breakfasts. Loved walking around the grounds and beautiful gardens and seeing all the wildlife. Our hostess was very welcoming and friendly and gave us useful information regarding good places to eat. We wish we had booked the twin room though, as we found the double room a bit small and the double bed was uncomfortable for two people to use as one side of it was against the wall." (2389552)

  We loved the location of the farmhouse, beautiful gardens and lake, all very well looked after. We particularly liked all the farmyard animals. It was a really idyllic place to stay. The breakfast was excellent - we had a full English on the first morning then we were offered scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on day 2 which was wonderful. Mrs Clark is a wonderful hostess - she was very friendly and made us feel really welcome

  We felt that the double room was a bit small. The double bed was alongside a wall which meant that one of us had to climb over the other in order to get in and out of bed and there wasn't room for the bed to be in any other position. I would have thought that it was only really a single sized room.

  "This B&B surpassed all of my expectations. The caliber of other guests was superb, great conversations at breakfast. The bedtime sherry (or Horlicks). It is near Oxford, the Cotswolds, Midlands, Southern England via excellent roads. It is very quiet. I can't say enough about Townfarm Cottage." (2113423)

  Das beste B&B in dem wir bisher waren. Wunderbare Besitzer! Frisches Frühstück mit Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten bei klassischer Musik!

  Es soll bitte so bleiben wie es ist. Wir wollen nächtes Jahr bei dem Reitturnier in Blenheim wieder so gut übernachten und essen.

  "try to book dinner at local pub before hand as gets booked. Food at local pubs excellant. The rooms at this farm were on small size,one with bath, one with shower, and kingsize no bath/shower adjoining,so not very convenient for late night showering. Huge breakfast though, and welcoming owner. If booking, go for twin room or double." (1669425)

  the location was good, very quite,duck pond,would be excellant summer break
