good breakfast. clean. Good security as no one had the front key. also free internet. good heating during winter
room too cluttered (not well arranged), no attached toilet (was ok as the price was low)

Good value for London! Great location in fairly quiet street, but close to several Underground stations.
Rather noisy as the room door had a large gap under it! Could hear lots of corridor noise.

Accessability to underground service. Booking on-line. Cheap for central London but this reflected in condition of premises.
Hotel very run down, especially the separate building, number 28, where we were put....not good. No water in one shower when other shower was in use. Human hairs in the breakfast cereal and marmalade. Breakfast cereal, cornflakes or rice krispies, already poured into bowls by staff.....yuk!

very clean great English breakfast cook to order close to Russell Square and King's Cross subway
No shower gel. Only 2 very tiny pc of soap without container by the sink in your room and is messy to carry to and from the bathroom when you need to shower. You need to wait for bathroom in rush hour.

Despite the age of the hotel, it was very clean and very central.
Hotel is very old. A big disadvantage was no ensuite. This was expected so I didnt even query when booking was it available

shared bathroom facilities. no elevator and steep stairs a little difficult if you have luggage.

Incredible bargain for a hotel in the centre of London, close to major rail and underground networks. Staff members were friendly, hospitable, efficient, and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable, and met all of our needs for a quick stay. Free breakfast was a wonderful bonus.
It was a bit of a bother not to have a key to the front door, however, staff was always nearby to answer the door.

Room was basic but clean. Good value for money
Twin room (2 adults) but only given 1 keycard for hte door. Breakfast wasn't very nice. Advert needs to stipulate shared bathrooms, not just tell you that when you book.

The staff really nice, vefry welcoming. Very approachable about ay queries. Explainded where are room was, where the bathroom was. Where nreakfast was. The food was fabulous. Lovely and fresh.
The hotel was nice, although it needs modernising. Very oldfasjioned rooms, bedding. Could od with a lick of paint, that the bathroom was not close to the room. That there wasnt enough plugs in the room

cheap - easy to book in and out - good breakfast - excellent shower - very close to all the main attractions and the tube in London. Busy enough road for me to be comfortable walking home from the tube with my children
I knew it was no frills but a kettle in the room would be a relatively cheap extra

St. Athans Hotel, London recensioni"When we arrived we were told we had to pay an additional 4% as we were paying with Visa. The clerk said the booking website should mention this. I have difficulty on stairs. The website did not allow us to stress we needed a first floor room, or an elevator. Our room was on the 3rd floor. We arrived at 22:00 so didnt have an option to look for something more suitable at that time." (107295749)
The room and bedding was clean. Had a sink in the room.
The toilet was down a flight of steep stairs and did not flush properly. The shower, which is in an attached building, wasn't too clean so we didn't use it. The stairways are narrow and steep with insufficient handrailing. The fire doors did not look adequate.

Very clean and reasonable hotel with a good breakfast. Convenient for the tube.
Fairly basic facilities but didn't mind as it was good value for money.

Cheap
Would not upgrade room despite my willingness to pay more and the availability of a spare room. They wanted me to pay for two rooms, the one I had booked and the one they could offer - never had this in 40 years of hotels! Wanted me to pay admin fee to use debit card, commission to use credit card. I did not see any indication that the price booked was for CASH payment only. Room was on the main road and no doube glazing so hardly slept.
