  "The staff at this hotel are very good and friendly nothing was to much for them. Just keep in mind you only get what you pay. " (107919250)

  Bed linen clean.Hotel had easy accsess at all the places we wanted to visit and in quiet loation.

  Hotel decor needs update and cleaning. Should have been informed about renovation work on one side and two over the road to our hotel.

  Convenience to Oxford Street and buses

  Will be better once all the repainting of all rooms is complete. Room 1 is partially repapered and painted is looking very bright and fresh

  "This is a well-run, helpful small hotel. Clean and neat, and very well situated. Breakfast was good, and the breakfast room tidy and well-stocked. Service was quick. You won't necessarily find enormous space in your room, but space is at a premium this far into central London, and at the price it represents very good value for someone looking for a dependable base for a short stay."   Cleanliness, especially where it counts - such as bathroom areas. Reception gave a good impression as soon as you came in - businesslike and friendly. Excellent location.

  The room was too small to have space for a chair. Not a problem for a simple overnight stay, though.

  "Fitted the bill perfectly" (107542989)

  I made a mistake when booking online by putting in the incorrect date (a week into the future). When I tried to book in this was quickly picked up by your receptionist and a replacement room was allocated and the wrong booking, a week later, was cancelled without charge. No fuss was made and this was greatly appreciated.

  The window in the basement room by the restaurant is draughty and so you must lose a lot of heat through it.

  Hotel is perfectly situated in the center of London, great transport facilities and wonderful staff

  Noise, because room was on the ground floor near the breakfast room

  "As above, room in cellar not a personal choice. Otherwise the hotel was very good, had some problems with electrics and shower first night but told receptionist the next morning and they were fixed immediately. Breakfast was a good selection, plenty of food if you wanted it!" (97815045)

  The hotel is very central, easy to find and in a nice area of London.

  Was not too happy about having the room in the cellar. If I had known would have specifically asked for another room when booking online, but saying that there was nothing wrong with the room.

  "Breakfast was basic could have sed more variety. Room was too small. Suggest eliminating the suit presser and putting in a double bed versus twin beds." (3304946044)

  "Room extremely small and situated under the stairs - bit of a shock. Washbasin in room pleasant surprise. Location very convenient and surprisingly quiet." (2167736)

  Location. Excellent breakfast, attentively waited on.

  Broken fittings (especially bathroom). Poor standard of bed making.

  "For the short duration of our stay this hotel was most acceptable.The situation is wonderful,within walking distance of some attractions and with bus and underground stops nearby.The staff are very welcoming and friendly,both in reception and at breakfast.The hotel is clean and well maintained.It is on a'relatively'quiet road,you are in the heart of London afterall!!There is no lift available,so the stairs could be a problem for some."   It was very conveniently situated for most of London's attractions.It had good access to both bus and underground stops.There were various restaurants/cafe's very nearby,also chemists and a cinema.Altogether an extremely well situated hotel,and one I would use again and recommend to friends.

  The bathroom in our room[8] could do with a total makeover.The shower head bracket was broken and the fittings were dingy,well past their sell by date!!I would have liked a small security box in the room aswell.

  "Directions to the place were not provided in the reservation confirmation when it was promised. Should have said that there were many stairs and they were narrow too! Also information as to number of rooms sharing the toilet/bath would be useful." (1825583)

  Good breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful!

  No working hairdryer, water heater difficult to work out.

  "Adequate accommodation. Good location for central London. Staff friendly. Breakfast good. No lifts - had to climb 4 floors to my room. System of entering with key at night and noone around very scary for this female traveller." (1793235)

  "The hotel is located right next to Hyde Park which is a bonus. Facilities like the Tube and shopping are within easy walking distance and the hotel is in a quite area. Overall a nice place to stay while in London" (1440568)

  Breakfast was good. Hotel was close to local facilities

  Toilet on upper floor didn't work.
