Lovely hotel but check in and check out without any paperwork.
Never asked to sign for anything, eg drinks and not given a bill on departure just told account would be charged to our credit card.

Wonderful position and aspect,great views from room & dining rooms. Stunning food. Delightful ambiance.
Room was quite small, but expected it to be so
Ogólnie/ Razem (depends on the context): Was better than I had hoped it would be, Wanted a high grade final stop on a winter trip. Definately hit and surpassed the mark. Now have a new marker point for dinners out, will be the new,comparison point, was it as good as kemmelburg? I very much lookforward to staying and eating there again. (108602411)

Ths really is a very very pleasant place to stay - everyone is as helpful as can be - especially the chef - who - at the last minute adapted my husband's food so that it did not contain any cream!
There was no choice of food on a Tuesday night - set meal - and that was that. There was no warning of this when night was booked and also on the booking form it said there was only one room left - this was plainly untrue as there was one other couple stayng the night. It was the same on the Monday night where Active Hotels say there is only one room left and plainly there were many.

Excellent hotel. Quiet position. Easy reach of Ypres. Great views from hotel over countryside.
On the first night of our stay the bar was closed.
