This boutique design hotel is located in the heart of the historical centre of Aix-en-Provence. It offers free soft-drinks in the mini-bar and free private parking.

The air-conditioned rooms at the Hotel Cézanne have free Wi-Fi access and bathrobes are provided. All rooms include satellite TV and some have views over the town.

Guests can enjoy a daily home-made breakfast until noon in the lounge or in their room, and they can order Champagne. They can also order pasta dishes at any time or relax with a drink in the 24-hour bar.

At Hôtel Cézanne you have free access to a Nespresso machine and seasonal fruit, over 1000 different newspapers and a business centre with a computer.

The TGV train station is 12 km from the hotel and the Provencal market at Cours Mirabeau is just 300 metres away.

  We had a surprizingly quiet large room on the fourth floor. Interiors are stylish and room was well designed. The location made it easy to take a short walk into the old town, or jump in the car for an outing. Free, secure parking was a real plus.

  The first night we had trouble getting the climate control set correctly, but after that, we had no issues.

  The room is really comfortable, it has a great natural light and it's quiet (we had a room to the back yard). We also recommend the breakfast, which is not included, but it's make - I'd say - with some love.

  It was unique in the fact that it was ano older building however it was well designed when renovated. The wash room and showers were great. The staff were polite and courteous and were very helpful.

  The location of hotel Cezanne is very good, just a five minute walk from the old city center. Even though the rooms were clean and their size was relatively ok I have to say I didn't particularly like the way the room was decorated; instead of having somewhat more provincial furniture hotel Cezanne opted for what felt ikea like modern furniture. As far as the staff is concerned in general they were not particularly helpful (with the exception of one of the men in the reception): when we asked for two pairs of sleepers for the bathroom the woman in the reception told us that only residents of junior suites were entitled to them, however she would exceptionally give us - well, when I am paying 185 euros per night to a hotel I don't particularly like it when someone feels like doing me a favor if they give me two pairs of sleepers costing less than 2 euros each. Moreover, the hotel staff provided us with wrong information regarding the bus schedule to the airport - is it so difficult to have the correct information when there is only one bus from your town to the airport? Without wanting to be too negative, hotel Cezanne is a nice hotel in good location - just a little overpriced, in need of more Provencal decoration and more genuinely kind staff.

  A high class hotel with an excellent, attentive multi-lingual staff. Helped tremendously with transportation and restaurant reservations. Comfortable, well-furnished rooms, although the smallest rooms do not have two side chairs. Nice public spaces and breakfast room. Easy walk to the romantic core of Aix.

  Not really a bargain, though fairly priced.

  Located in the ancient part of town, walking distance to sights, shopping, restaurants. Free parking with limited availability, very comfortable, clean & convenient, staff was very helpful.

  The location is excellent for exploring old Aix, and the staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was well presented and generous, and having free minibar was a pleasant surprise.

  The first two rooms we were shown were small and not very appealing, but the third was quite comfortable. The WiFi connection was erratic. The directions we were give to drive to the tgv station were inaccurate. It was much farther away than suggested and very complicated to find.

  We used TER from Marseille so the location of the hotel was perfect.

  The shower booth was hard to use without flooding the toilet floor.

  Convenient, quiet location which was within easy reach of the 'old town'. Although it was on a busy raod, the sound insulation was 1st class. The air conditioning was effective and quiet. Breakfast was great. Sometimes, I felt that the staff thought that we did not demand enough from them [especially at breakfast].

  There were still rooms available in spite of other places being booked out and me being very late in booking a room

  The room quality is all right without being anything very special. Considering this, the price asked and payed is/was very high. Adding 18 euros on top of that price for breakfast doesn't make the deal more interesting.

  Small hotel in a good location. The room was a good size for two people. Huge tv!!! Although we didn't stay in the room and watch any tv, it was still pretty cool. Short distance from a main cafe/restaurant street called Cours Mirabeau which on Sundays has an open bazaar/market with beautiful things to buy! Going on a Sunday is a must do!!! Vendors are selling everything from jewelery, to home furnishings, soaps, lavendar, paintings, sweets.. Lovely things! Take cash! As you continue down the street, there is a cafe called Les Deux Garcons which has very tasty oysters! Also, if you haven't quite stuffed yourself, around the corner from the cafe is the best pizza in town!!! Grab a slice! Its worth it!

  Didn't stay long enough to comment on anything negative. We arrived in the evening and checked out the next morning. Its not a luxurious hotel as its small and the room barely has an amenities. If you would like water or a drink you must go to the lobby and serve yourself and write your room number down on a sheet with the items you took.

  Staff were helpful and friendly especially breakfast staff. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of great choices.

  Not enough attention to getting room ready i.e. safe didn't work and while we were told daily that it would be done, after 4 days it still wasn't fixed. Room not cleaned until late afternoon. Always got some but not all types of towels washclothes etc. Had to ask daily or find cart and get it ourselves!

  Staff fantastic. Pleasant, helpful and always obliging! Location was great. Rooms located close to family members. Able to communicate in our own language. Delicious breakfast and service provided. Obliging with children.

  Comfortable rooms, nice breakfast, albeit expensive.

  Worst internet access/wi-fi ever! Some employees were attentive, but other not much.
