  Comfortable bed. Clean bedding and room generally. Effective air- conditioning. Nice furnishings with some french style. It's nice to stay in a hotel that has some indication of the country it's located in.

  Expensive mini-bar. What was provided at breakfast seemed expensive for 18 euros. The garage area was dimly lit and for safety it would be an improvement to have brighter lights, certainly in the ramp area as it's tight turning. I would recommend the hotel but on a 1 or 2 night stay basis.

  Excellent reception staff, being both helpful and efficient. Delicious dinner. Location gave easy access to all interesting places in this charming, busy but really interesting friendly city. Seperate secure carparking was also good. We originally booked 1 night but were so pleased that we stayed 2.

  Located across the street from train and bus station. Good reception staff.

  Hotel is not a 4* but solid 3*. Price per night and breakfast is on the high side. Rooms are rather small, no space to put even an extra chair. Most of the floors are non smoking but our room had strong smell of the smoke that left from older times. No central air conditioning, though there is a split system in the room it is too old and too noisy, hardly make an air cooler. Room had a balcony but it was rather dirty.

  Clean, tidy and catered for family with beds. Breakfast excellent choice of items. Staff helpful. Good position in the city.

  The location is good, in front of the main station with a nice square in front.

  Obvious it is not a 4 stars hotel, is maximum 3 stars. The rooms are very small, the beds are small, the bathrooms are not very wellcoming with only soap and towels.

  Location, very easy to find, excellent staff, loved the freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast.

  Room 508 did not have a shower curtain which made it very diffucult to keep floor dry.

  Accommodation good; cost 65 Euros.

  Cost of meals high: 42 Euros for basic formule, cheapest half bottle of wine 18 Euros, bottle of Evian 5.70 Euros, breakfast 14.50 Euros. It would be helpful for guests to be warned of the costs of meals when the booking is arranged..

  Good location. Easy to find. Staff very helpful. Secure parking only yards away. Excellent resturant opposite. Good bar/cafe for coffee & croissant next door. Comfortable bed, clean room and good value for money. We will be staying again.

  Normal 3 stars. The elevetor was stopped for maintenance and we h ave been adviced only at arrival (with a baby). We were reserved a room at 4th floor!!! ... And no help with the luggage the next morning.

  Not easy to find.Located on a busy town centre roundabout. No parking, but secure parking 3 streets away

  The staff are just great. The Hotel in Angers is my favourite in France. The combination of great staff, atmosphere and central location make it the perfect spot for me to stay in Angers.

  All the staff members I encountered were helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable, clean, and in good condition. The location was ideal as we had to catch an early train. I will stay there again when I return to Angers.

  I found the staff very helpful and polite especially as I left an item of clothing in the room and they were very helpful in finding this item and retutning it to me in England by post.

  Comfortable, clean, and affordable. If you're coming by train, it's the most convenient. In car, it's also fine. The old plaza is a 5-10min walk away.

  Brilliant, friendly staff. Great stylish rooms, my daughter loved her 'Princess Corner' in our Prestige Room. Bathroom was gorgeous too.

  When we arrived we were allocated a room on the 5th floor and as my wife does not use lifts we asked to be re-located. With in minutes we were upgraded to a prestige room at no extra cost overlooking the fountains in the square. That's what I call service! A big thank you to the staff for making our stay so very enjoyable!

  I enjoyed the Hotel de France because it was very clean, the staff members were friendly, and the view of the train station was excellent. The free Internet access was a major plus. The bathroom was very big for a European hotel room.

  I think the restaurant was probably overpriced, especially breakfast, but there are several cafes close to the hotel.
