  The young lady on the front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant. The hotels location was outstanding.

  The lack of an elevator made hauling our luggage upstairs an issue.

  The staff in Danieli is soooo nice and friendly!!! Located in a very convenient place in the city center. Walking distance to the shopping area and also famous site.

  The small issue of the room I stayed is a heavy smell of oil in the room from the closet. Don't know why.

  Great location in the centre of town. Third floor room was quiet, clean and spacious. As was the bathroom. Loved having quilts on the beds rather than a thin blanket. Great value for money. Lady at the front desk was also very friendly and helpful.

  Excellent location and cheap. Hotel is closed to all facilities. Bedroom and bathroom are big and very clean. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. We had an excellent stay at Danieli.

  The hotel was very central to the heart of Avignon. The Staff were friendly and helpful.

  The room was very dark as was most of the hotel. The photo of the hotel was misleading. We looked onto a brick wall.

  The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was most enjoyable. The convenience to shops, food, Christmas markets and restaurants was excellent. Certainly a great location.

  We parked our car in the multi-storey carpark. It is very crowded

  Great location, friendly 24 hour staff, nice clean and quiet room. Equidistant to Pope's palace and train station. Great live music at the Irish Pub down the street. Should be more than a 2 star hotel.

  It was central, comfortable with v friendly and helpful staff. However, if you left the back window open then there was some noise from the cafe.

  The room was spacious enough even for 4 people. There were individual beds for each of us. The toilet was rather big as well with a bathtub. It was pretty cosy and clean. I like the design of the hotel, like the staircase was quite pretty. The location of the hotel was really good as well. It's kind of located along the main street where lots of shops are at. The area felt very safe. The Avignon Centre gare is also just down the street right outside the walls so it was convenient for us.

  There isn't a lift so it's inconvenient for people with large suitcases.

  The location in the centre of Avignon was perfect. Along the main street, 5 minutes from the main sights and around the corner from pedestrian streets with restaurants. 10 minutes from the main railway station and the bus from TGV station. Hotel was in a nice building, rooms recently painted and decorated. Very clean and surprisingly big rooms. Staff spoke mostly good English and were very helpful. Breakfast was good with fresh bread, croissants, yogurt, fruit, muesli and eggs. Our overall impression was very good. Recommend the hotel warmly.

  We did not have much luggage, but I guess some would mind the lack of an elevator. Only disappointment concerning the breakfast was the fact that coffee came from a machine. But these were very minor details.

  The hotel staff were really friendly and polite, we were given a very nice welcome. The room was on the third floor without a lift (could be tough for ppl with mobility problems), the bathroom smelt really strange like it had a damp rot problem, not too many tv channels to pick from and the decor could do with livening up a bit. Room was pretty clean if a bit noisy (we could hear neighbours and the cleaners). Location was excellent for visiting Avignon and all in 70€ for a double room is not a bad value for money.

  Smelly Bathroom, noise travelled from neighbouring rooms and the cleaners cupboard which was next door, no lift, daudy decor.

  Good location, quiet room (at the back), airconditioning.

  Erratic (to say the least) supply of hot water, gloomy, narrow corridors, no lift.

  Excellent location - very large room, comfortable beds and very quiet. Located within walking distance of Avignon attractions. Would stay there again.

  Get up early for hot water in the shower.
