Nearly 200 years old, this former inn has its own grounds and overlooks the Ashburnham golf links. With views of Gower Peninsula, it is on the edge of the Millennium coastal paths and cycle tracks.
Extensively refurbished in recent years, the Ashburnham Hotel welcomes many return guests to enjoy its excellent services. Personal service to all guests is considered important at this hotel.
All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, courtesy trays, telephone, TV and wireless internet access.
The Ashburnham Hotel is a wonderful area full of natural beauty and history. A short stroll will take you to the pretty harbour of Burry-Port, with its small fishing boats.
Please note that there is no lift at the Ashburnham Hotel all rooms are only accessible by stairs.
As a wedding venue, there is often a disco on Friday and Saturday evenings, which may cause some noise. Some rooms are directly above the disco.

Disappointing. We were only expecting basic accommodation but nevertheless expected and did not get a good night's rest on both nights.
Location for Pembrey Racing Circuit
On arrival at 2230 there was a very loud party in progress. We were told not to worry as it would finish by 0030! Not what we wanted to hear after an 8 hour boat/car journey. Our bedroom was directly above the function room, and the dj was encouraging much shouting and very loud singing. The music may have ended at 0030, but the shouting and singing continued for up to an hour (it seems Swansea are going to Wem-ber-ley . . . ). We then seemed to catch the staff by surprise in being up at 0700 each morning for breakfast - they seemed to assume that everyone was partying and would want to lie in. Beds felt very old and lumpy with little support. Shower had very little pressure and very slippery bath to stand in and climb in and out of - no anti-slip mat.
