On the Hyde Park estate, just 3 minutes' walk from the famous park, this Victorian town house was originally built in 1839. Today, Barry House has been rated as 3-star guest accommodation by VisitBritain, the tourist board of the United Kingdom.
The building backs on to Bathurst Mews, home of the Hyde Park Stables, which offer horse hire and riding lessons in the park. The shops of Oxford Street are less than a mile (1.6 km) away and many of London's sights, attractions and museums are also within easy walking distance.

Barry House is owned and run by the Bhasin family, who pride themselves on offering a warm, friendly welcome and comfortable, clean accommodation at great-value rates.

Friendly and informative.
The hotel proprietor found it impossible to serve breakfast at 7.30. Breakfast time was stated to be 8am and flexibility was not offered. One hungry "guest".
