Enjoyed staying here_it is informal, friendly, good value and good location
Excellent breakfast choice (curly Cumberland sausage was really good!); plenty of parking space & very short walk into Ambleside; tartan carpet is unusual but makes the place really cosy and welcoming as do the bookshelves and toys/games dotted around the place!!
Wicker chairs in room very thinly cushioned & not very comfortable; kept banging head on sloping ceiling over the bed! Bit short of drawer or wardrobe shelf space.
