Pleasant stay. Rooms a little out of date and no card keys, but I understand that Best Western have only owned it for 7 months and have plans to update. The restaurant staff although helpful, could be better trained.
Reception staff were excellent. The booking site had not sent our details through but the receptionist solved the problem and had us booked in within 15 minutes. Requests - such as a fan and a top sheet - were dealt with quickly and pleasantly.
The hotel was far too hot! Particularly the dining room at breakfast. A straw poll of other (mainly elderly) guests agreed. I understand that the heating comes on overnight and I have the impression that the heating is dictated by the calender, regardless of the ambient temperature.
